Who is thinking about cancelling Light Fall Pre-order?
Just curious... I heard a ton of folks are not too happy w/ the direction Bungie is going (in more ways than one), and droves are running away. Massive pre-order cancels apparently are happening.
Edit: It's been one week since Lightfall launched. Surprise surprise... it's a DISASTER! I was hoping to be wrong so I could re-purchase it. Sadly, nope. Mediocrity at its finest! Where the heck did all the good writers go? I feel like Bungo has been completely taken over by the sector of society that will not understand why they are getting all the hate they are. I feel bad for the few devs who are actually talented, but whose ideas are shoved into the trash by the blue-haired weirdos or spineless supervisors who are only good at drinking the kool-aid.

Did it last season ruined pvp and from what I've seen and heard they dumped on it even more so why bother putting a single penny into bungies pocket if they aren't gonna actually make good content

The melee is trash and void 2.0 was supposed to add more to the game not nerf the subclass. I took my friends with me. We are currently playing call of duty, pub g, and overwatch. This hurts me because i love destiny. I will try this new season but if it looks like there was no effort im not buying light fall. And i always pre order.

They completely murdered the hunter class.. they waste time messing with things that actually work and destroying the only hunter subclass that did damage.. then don’t even bother to add any new content (exotics) where is our money going???

Legit want to but im honestly just sad. I loved the game, it was a blast. But now its just -blam!-. Like whoever was calling the shots at bungie got head trauma and completely removed the fun stuff.

5 RepliesThis is the first release since D1 launch I am not buying. Did not pre-order. I no longer like the product that Bungie is selling, and for many reasons I believe that they no longer care about the quality of Destiny. The game has kind of become a cartoon dress-up party with a ton of glitches, recycling, and sunsetting/nerfs. The storyline is boring and childish. Destiny had a good run but is no longer interesting running the same maps and activities over and over and over with zero innovation from Bungie.

If next season is a disaster again and no reverts are announced for the lightfall launch then I’ll cancel my preorder. If bungie removes any 2 of the following then I’ll stay: Sbmm / AE / Trials Flawless Pools If a miracle happens and bungie takes action to stop console cheating then that alone is enough for me to not cancel lightfall. This generation needs to wake up and stop letting businesses like this one take advantage of them. Back in the day developers had to work to get gamers to buy their games, and that was because that generation was a lot more intelligent than today's generation which just throws money at the screen/shop. Take a look at how 343 literally destroyed Halo Infinite following this business footsteps down to the T, leaving the entire game Barebone from what a Halo game offers and changing most things about it that were enjoyable playing a Halo game for the lame shop that they shove in the gamers face. This is how bad things are with gaming today. Once a great game made by an actual developer that cared about the work they produced and it showed throughout the entire game, the original Bungie. This Fortnite BS needs to go. This business is even on Reddit trying to hype up the next season knowing it's just going to be more of the same, and it's why I stopped buying the seasons a couple of years back. This business is more talk than actual action, and that is a huge red flag.

I canceled it because I’m bored with Destiny, until they breath some new life into the core playlists which is doubtful will happen since it won’t make them any money I’m playing other games. DMZ has oddly enough scratched my looter itch.I know it’s not really one but extracting with a bag full of loot has its moments.

As more time goes on...I'm kind of getting over it. Each year the game has roped me in for a couple of months because of the big expansion...then the rest of the year is just dragging its feet to get to the next big expansion. Each season just continues to wear on me instead of giving me something to keep me interested. The activities are always hollow and limited. The stories are typically predictable. The exotics break and get disabled every time which makes chasing them worthless. Acquiring them through lost sectors in the first place is bad. Crucible is stagnant even with sandbox changes. Sandbox changes are made PER SEASON which means they take too long tackling things that need help or to be toned down. I can keep going but all's it does is make me angry. Every year is the same hollow experience with a different coat of paint and the experience only continues to worsen as they keep wringing more money out of me for stuff no higher quality than what's been released in the past. Each season contains more, but it's just more of the same nonsense. I'm genuinely considering if I want to waste another year on a game that feels lifeless now, even if it technically is more "alive" because of the content drops.
