Gjallarhorn Nerfing Really … How about LFR
Seriously if you guys want even effective weapons… Stop making it so the only viable gun to use in every end situation a damn LFR. Even the 1 raid encounter were Rockets were the goto… you bumped it down so everyone gets pushed back to LFR. 🤷♂️ Gjallarhorn is the one boss RL please stop messing with it 🤨 But the rest of the reworks look great 👍

5 RepliesOh don’t worry. They’re promising a “heavy weapon damage rebalance”. Or “nerfing the -blam!- out of everything that’s not being used to their satisfaction”, if some of you reading are new here. I have no idea what the future meta is going to be, but I’m fairly certain LFRs are going to be nerfed into oblivion sooner rather than later.

4 RepliesGjallarhorn, I haven't seen in a raid in many many months with the exception of Sisters in King's Fall, for a couple weeks till Bungie fixed them taking more damage from rockets. I've done hundreds upon hundreds of raids (literally, you can raid report me). Every single -blam!- raid is Linears. I'm not saying I agree with it, but most of you probably didn't think of this. Bungie is probably future nerfing. As in they noticed that when they nerf Divinity, Gjallarhorn could become dominant by alot and they are nerfing it too. Regardless. Gjallarhorn shouldn't be nerfed, it is fine, and what stats are they using anyways? Obviously LFRs are used most not Gjallarhorn. Maybe solo players are using it alot, or they are nerfing it cause it's all people use in Dares of Eternity (which wouldn't matter cause once you get your pinnacle from one run you stop playing it for another week). Anarchy is a good replacement. It just got buffed by 10% and with a Breach and Clear mod (if it still affects GLs) it will be great. You gotta remember Anarchy does a -blam!- ton of damage AND lets you use another weapon at the same time. I use it lots as is.

3 RepliesGjallarhorn was nowhere near warranting a nerf just because it’s usage was high doesn’t mean it’s broken it an iconic Destiny weapon that a lot of players like to use now it’ll just be a vault dweller.

they brought it back to nerf it again, like the first time it was in the game, and the first time they brought it back. why even bother. thats why a lot of people hate exotic rng because after all the time, by time you get them it gets nerfed

It was all part of the master plan. Buy the 30th for the OP gun then plan the nerf a few months down the line. There will be a new OP exotic gun or armour soon and it will be nerfed once they have your money.

They just undid the buff they gave it a few months ago my dude...calm down. It got a pretty big 20% buff back then.

Only reason I would ever use heavy LFR is because I can pair it with a special LFR and share ammo mods This is probably next on the nerf teams list… Ghally would have been nerfed sooner BUT people paid for the 30th anniversary to get it so bungie dragged their feet a little Now just dump it back in the vault for what the third time now ??? lol Don’t worry it will be good again when it’s used to sell that new future expansion that I won’t be buying

I mean it got nerfed in d1 and it was still one of the best weapons in the game. Then again we didn't have LFRs or any other good exotic heavy weapons besides swords so I guess this argument is useless.

Overreacting The nerf is only for the first rocket, not Wolfpack rounds and not the weapon itself. On top of that, it still gives legendary rocket and yourself pack hunter, still gives legendary rockets Wolfpack rounds (which caused them to out DPS Gally before any nerfs), and still causes the Wolfpack rounds to spawn mini rockets after a kill The weapon is fine. If you don’t understand how to use it then just say that

They nerfed it because they’re bringing back lucent finisher. People were literally burning through gm’s a couple seasons ago with gally. So instead of just giving us another mod, they decide to nerf the gun. Bungie logic

2 RepliesHow do you keep people playing? - Procrastinate story progression - Add artificial gatekeeper mechanics (e.g. PL) - Change constantly weapon/armour balance/meta including nerfs and buffs and sunsetting/reintroduction requiring people to (re)buy/grind and adjust constantly. Bottom line pattern - constant change and no long term reliability.
