Cross save not working

I'm going from PS4 to PC, and everything looked fine when I linked the accounts. I can check the website on my computer browser, phone browser, and companion app and they all check out. But when I went into the game it kept prompting me to enable cross save. I checked a few more times to make sure, then continued, assuming that it would load up my old characters. Instead, it had be make a new character and I have no way (that I know of) to go back. I still see the correct accounts linked on the app, with the correct characters, it's just in game that's not transferring over properly.

    Hi there. The most common reason for this happening is a player is signed into an alternate Steam account than the one linked to their Cross Save. A quick way to check is to sign out of Bungie.net and Steam, then manually sign in to both using the same Steam login. If you get a different Bungie profile, the login you're entering is for an alt account. If you get the correct profile and see your characters on Steam when you launch the game, then the last time you logged into Steam was on an alt account.
