So.. are we screwed?
That Calus message in the helm scared the life out of me, and honestly with everything stacked up the way it is I'm doubting Destiny's gonna have a happy ending.

4 RepliesI’m assuming we are gonna befriend the hive next and obtain their thorn powers as a subclass. Then in one final effort with all our old foes as friends now, we’ll tackle the witness in an all out assault, hopefully ending tragically but bitter sweet.

I think humanity will have a "happy" ending but I think a lot if not all the guardians will have to pay the price, be it through death or the loss of their light and therefore immortality. There's no way after all this time humanity just goes extinct.

Awhile back I had posted an article about a device that was built and held some material suspended in air via essentially sound waves. Thing is, I had posted it because the item looked exactly like that prismatic caster thing the drifter used to have in the helm. So eventually, waveform... Back to the overall, his thought is stuck on "the end of everything", when it really should be a shift in the form of energy, still in equal potential. Edit: It can be a happy ending, after all, all endings are really just new beginnings (oh something like that). Like the vex, they can take a core out of a star, repurpose it, and at the same time refuel the star. The end is a shape, maybe not one we can actually understand (secrets of nature, veiled statue), but grasp it enough...(caught myself in a chuckle, because I heard it in game...think this one or returnal)...where we get a facsimile of the design. Basically, all we have left is faith.

Why can't there be some good endings?, we get so much bad news from real life, it would be nice if things worked out in our fantasies I mean even Game Of Thrones had a fairy tale ending(for the Starks) -
There are no such thing as happy ending in this game to say there’s always threats looming around the corner Lightfall: is the empire strikes back Final shape: the return of the Jedi So either way guardians are toast Independence Day style.

I think that the darkest hour will be before the dawn. But since the game will presumably remain playable into 2023 and beyond, there will be some sort of a dawn. Though there may not be much of a human race around to celebrate it.
