Make Path of Burning Steps grant increased mobility on stasis kills instead of stasis protection. Stasis Freezes are obsolete in PvE/PvP
I have been using the Exotic for the last 1,5 months on my Titan and the firewalker buff, hardly has any utility for other subclasses than Solar and Solar Weapons.
The Stasis freeze/slow protection perk is basically useless. Enemies in PvE (even endgame) hardly freeze or slow you at ANY time if you are a decent player. In PvP most players play Solar and Void 3.0 right now, a few using Arc 2.0 still. Stasis there is a SUPER RARE.
The Stasis Protection therefore becomes useless because it isn't needed at almost any time. It grants you a protection buff that is so meaningless it could be deleted from the exotic and no one would care at all.
So, here is my idea. Since we have a lot of Stasis Weapons (and the subclasses) in the game now, it would be a good exchange to have Stasis weapons work with the Boots.
Similar to the "Firewalker" buff that increases damage, you gain "Stasiswalker" buff on every 2-3 Stasis weapon/ability kills, increasing your mobility.
That way the player has choice between "more damage" and "more mobility" at the same time with the right weapons/abilities. Also, this would make the difficulty to get to 4x stacks of Firewalker/Stasiswalker pretty fair. Right now you need around 12-15 kills to get to 4x10s stacks. Not really easy to do in PvP and PvE endgame.
