We’ve Known About the Witness Since D1

With all that’s being revealed in the witch queen, I’ve glanced back at some old concept art and it makes sense. I’ve attached a link to the first thing that popped up when I googled it but you can clearly see what we know now as the Witness above the veiled statue. Same stupid look on its face with a small mouth and square-ish head. A single line eyebrow. And so on. So, what does this mean? We can probably pull a lot more from this picture on what to expect in light fall. This is probably on one of the main ships, the 3 middle figures are guardians, the green stuff is important. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyLore/comments/flm0vt/darkness_statue_in_early_concept_art/

  • Unlikely. Crow is a repurposed character with an entirely different backstory and role then originally planned. Exo Stranger saw a massive retcon in BL that included not just herself but the whole timeline and travel lore lore. You think the Witness is the same now as it may have been? Doubtful. Mainly, because the face is above the shrouded figure. You don’t put minions above deities in a shrine.
