So those Chandelier objects in the sky of the EDZ, Cosmodrome and now the Moon, is that spire and those jars filled with unrefined Light we saw during The Last Chance mission of Witch Queen.
The Lucent Hive are purifying that Light for a ritual but of what kind? Why the EDZ, why the Cosmodrome and why the Moon?
The EDZ is pretty obvious, it's the Dusklight Shards. Of similar nature to the one where we regained our Light Subclasses. The same one where Uldren took the "flesh" of the Traveler to open the Dreaming City.
What is important is obtaining examples of that same thing, to obtain the pattern, or resonance with various shards to be put into Ghost shells. And that's done by matching it up with the Light that was sacrificed from Guardians. Like how Savathûn used herself to create Ghosts that would resonate with the Hive.
Ghosts pick their Guardian depending on their resonance frequency. Ghosts "find" their Guardians.
But why the Cosmodrome? Well, what didn't we see? We didn't see the area where we were revived.
Now why the Moon? Could be the Hive Fortress. Another could be the Pyramid which is manifesting Nightmares. However, could the same thing be done in reverse I wonder? Retaining the personality, but removing the memory using the Light.
To reset it's pattern to become a Ghost.

It would be funny to realize that Fynch is actually just Cayde, and Savathûn's Ghost really was Sagira. Immaru was Nokris' Ghost, her "most trusted Witch" and then chose their new names/forms. Osiris & Savathûn.
Why? The Exotic Glaive lore tabs do not state any names, only titles. If Nokris were to become the "First of the Lucent, resurrected in the image of the Queen herself" then... what a trick that would be. 🤭
