Both of these characters are at the height of their power. Thanos has the gauntlet with all stones and his entire army. Oryx has his entire fleet and his entire army, as well as the abiluty to take. Assume that powerful entities (Thanos and his children) can not be taken. All else goes.
For sake of argument, there will be a bonus match up in which Thanos is lacking the space stone. All other rule apply.
This is my response:
Oryx wins. Thanos may use to his infiny gauntlet with all stones to snap all of the hive away. This is allowed, because the stones command the 6 fundamental laws of the universe. I say that this does not work on Ascendant hive. They are paracusal, meaning they are above the laws of the universe, meaning thwy are above the stones. Oryx can then use the dreadnaught cannon to make all sirvivers part of his throne world, and do what he wishes with them.
Feel free to argue your vote in the comments. Also please don't talk about Thanos in comics. Thanks and have fun!

I’d love to see how the soul stone interacts with Taken. Maybe it could reverse the effect, since Taking involves corrupting a soul. I would have to say Thanos, with or without the space stoke simply because of how the soul stone could affect the Taken

I say Jake Paul

5 RepliesEdited by PhNx Hellfire: 12/19/2021 10:57:38 PM
Thanos has the gauntlet with all stones
Oryx and thanos show up to the battlefield and the fight begins. Thanos snaps his finger in any universe. Oryx must now flip a coin to see if he is one of the many to disappear. 50/50 chances. I will use a dice roller to determine if he lives. 1 and he is alive. 2 and he is dead. https://rollthedice.online/en/dice/d2 He rolled a 1. He is alive. Thanos opens his portal, steps in, and rests his days out on the planet. Oryx eventually will travel again and ultimately wins the fight because Oryx will actually bring an army to combat Thanos world. As for your belief that paracausical beings are protected? Not from another paracausal power like the infinity stones. They are used to control the very fabric of reality. Whatever is deemed to exist, or not, is at their mercy. Not the other way around. Being able to manipulate the powers of reality is what the stones are there for. There is no higher form of power than the ability to rewrite the entire cosmos reality.

1 ReplyThanos with the stones. Like… that’s not even really a contest lmao.

3 RepliesEdited by Bruce Wizard: 12/22/2021 4:35:29 AMMarvel Super Nerd Here. The Infinity Stones work only in the universe that they originate from. Oryx’s throneworld, the Dreadnaught, is its own universe. The Stones are useless in such conditions. Thanos is not a paracausal being and cannot generate the appropriate energies to destroy Oryx in his throneworld because of this fatal flaw the Infinity Stones hold. Oryx would win.

<The Infinity Stones are restricted to their origin universe and the beings in it. Paracausal power works beyond universes, and is on an extradimensional level.>

1 ReplyDepends on how far the power of the Infinity Stones reach. If it is just THIS plane of existence....then Oryx wins. If they can reach into the Throneworlds, and Thanos can simply snap his fingers and will The Hive and their "gods" out of existence? They're toast.

The Architects never lose. Not even once Here’s your answer.

4 RepliesNo, you can't add in that "assume they can't be taken" no, Raw Power Against Raw Power. Oryx would actually win as he can just -blam!- you at will. Thanos's army would be fighting themselves. Yes thanos could use the Time Stone but a Paracasual Being like Oryx would surely Dominant Thanos. Thanos is actually Weaker if you take away the Stones it's then a Strength perspective. Oryx would win. And if he Snapped Oryx away, it then Leaves him in a Weakend State that the Exsposes him to Savathun and Xivu. Thanos wouldn't win.

Thanos. -
10 RepliesOryx has a Throne world so even if Thanos won a fight Oryx would come back. Also Thanos if he got into the Throne World would need his army to help him to win... but that army would be vulnerable to be made into Taken.

It comes down to which universe they fight in. Fight in the MCU? Thanos snaps. Our universe, much less Oryx's throne world? Thanos is gonna have to go Flawless. -
