Originally, we had our clan name as "Cayde's Little Gays" and that had been the name since the beginning of season 13, but it got flagged yesterday. We read the code of conduct, and just assumed that the word 'little' made it seem like we were lessening being gay or anything, shrugged it off, and changed the name to just "Cayde's Gays." It just got flagged again, and I wanted to see if the system just doesn't like the word gay?
Our clan is a small group of friends, all but one of which are apart of the LGBTQ+ community. I know that Bungie is probably trying to help protect the community, which is very appreciated, but does the system auto-flag the word gay, and can we not use that to describe ourselves?
Thank you for any potential answers!

4 RepliesWhen making clan names or choosing a platform name you need to consider others. Does this name mean something offensive in another country? Will this name upset some ethnic minorities? References to colour. The stupid names like glorifying serial killers by using their names. Blaming certain companies for 9/11 as a platform user name. These are just a few of the things to consider. Just think very wisely before jumping in with a name
