SBMM is only a good thing for people who are bad at the game.

and here's a stupid troll

0.73 K/D 🤷🏾♂️ just proving my point how only bad players want SBMM
-
That’s what happens when you go into crucible matches without SBMM, thank you for validating my point.
That’s what happens when you go into crucible matches without SBMM, thank you for validating my point.
No that’s what happens when you are bad at the game. Instead of going in with high stat armor and relevant mods, bad players get rolled over and whine for SBMM. While SOME players experience will improve it would ruin it for far more. Not to mention all the players you try to avoid will just reverse boost into your lobbies anyways…
-
You clearly have no idea what you are even on about. I should be in lobbies with other players of the same skill level.
-
You clearly have no idea what you are even on about. I should be in lobbies with other players of the same skill level.
No it should be random lobbies for quickplay. If you want SBMM lobbies play competitive
-
Trolls like you just keep going huh No one is that brain dead
-
Trolls like you just keep going huh No one is that brain dead
Trolling and telling the truth are very different things. Comp has SBMM so If that’s what you prefer play comp. SBMM has no place in non competitive PVP
-
Lol here you are still complaining about SBMM, you don’t want to play against your own skill level it’s too rough we get it.
-
And yet here you are crying about not being able to fight against average players because your bad at the game. I actually play trials and play comp that have SBMM. Meanwhile you cry on these forums because you can’t win while crutching on a vigilance wing.
-
So.. that means it's a good thing all in all right? The bad players are no less deserving of a fighting chance than the good players are I think. Normally I wouldn't think that but the gap between good and bad players is so wide that the bad players on average don't get better when they play the good players.
-
Bad players complain about having to fight people who are only average and call everyone who has above a .9 K/D a sweaty.
Bad players complain about having to fight people who are only average and call everyone who has above a .9 K/D a sweaty.
Actually it’s the PvP regulars who complain the most…if they don’t get an easy stomp against blueberries they whine and complain… It’s why sbmm was removed in the first place…

All we really need lobby balancing

Having SBMM would protect you have screw over everyone else. Especially in QP. Not to mention all the players you want to avoid will just reverse boost into your lobbies anyways

Unless you really can’t compete against players of your skill level - which is usually the case when your stats are padded against newbs and casuals…. Far easier to stomp on blueberries to get to the lighthouse than actually be matched fairly against those of your skill level right? Right?

Edited by Gibbon, the Ape Defector: 10/17/2021 6:28:29 PMSo.. what are you saying? Are you saying that because some of the "bad player" community is so judgemental of the good players, that the bad players who are legitimately trying to get better (but can't) deserve to be held back by the ill intent of the toxic ones?
-
No I’m saying that they need to work on getting better instead of trying to screw over everyone else. If someone can’t compete against sliver/gold elo players than why should I have to only fight top players in the world? How’s that fair to me?
-
That is a better point. But I would add: if it wouldn't be fair for you to fight others at your level, then it must be even more unfair for another player to always have to fight others above their level. So why not grant the lower players the minor unfairness you would have by fighting others at their level? That's better than the major unfairness of fighting others above them. Sbmm would elevate the bad players from a state of major unfairness to minor unfairness, and it would lower good players from a mix of fairness and advantage to a minor unfairness. The result would be that everyone has a minor unfairness to deal with, instead of a large schism in the fairness a player experiences. I think that's acceptable because I don't consider fighting someone at your level to be unfair. A tougher fight isn't unfair to me, and I can see why someone would think it is unfair, but I believe it's wrong to entitle yourself to a win. I hope that all makes sense.

sbmm only makes sure you dont match against the sweatiest team stomping players over and over. Literally the only ones who complain are streamers and sweats who only want easy matches
-
Uh no I’m not a streamer or a sweat and still don’t want SBMM in quick play.
