Okay? Excuse my hyperbole. My point stands. I don't want to play sweaty matches.

Good thing you wont.

Edited by scomatth: 7/22/2020 6:57:38 AMIf I wasn't already, I wouldn't be posting about it. I thought I made it clear that I'm casual trash and Crucible that used to be fun no longer is because I'm consistently matching with players outside my weight class. I'm sorry you have a problem with that. If you'd like to bring an actual argument to the table, I'm all ears.

Just seems like another post where anyone who is better than you is "sweaty"
-
And? How does that invalidate my point? My point is that it's not fun as a little league player to be squaring off against the major leagues. We can throw the word "sweaty" away if you'd like and my point remains the same. If you're against skill-based matchmaking, make a counterpoint.

CBMM benefits the majority. It only sometimes negatively impacts the bottom %, which is basically no one. If you get hammered, accept the loss, and see what u could do to improve. That's how I and many others got better. Watch the good players and you can easily drop positive kds. It's very easy in this game. All you really need is positioning and game sense. Dont rush like 5 people, pick ur gunfights, etc.

You're probably right, and I don't expect Bungie to change it back just for me. All the same, I'm leaving my feedback. I don't play Crucible to "git gud." I will be the first to admit I have no interest in playing to improve my skill. I've never cared about leader-boards or ranked play in any other game. I enjoyed the stupid fun nonsense it was for me before the change. Now it feels like I'm consistently matching against ppl who are playing way too seriously and that's not fun for me.

Those people in reality are just playing as casually as you, but they are just slightly better. Dont have that mindset. Always look to improve, even slightly, then pvp will become better for you.
