[u][i][b]WARNING: THIS IS A D1 TO D2 PLAYER RANT. SKIP THIS PORTION IF YOU WANT.[/b][/i][/u] The [i]Season of the Almighty[/i]. A great idea. Fantastic events. Amazing new stuff. If you feel like you're playing Warframe instead of Destiny. The Season of the Almighty tried to do somethings that no one really enjoys due to how tedious it is to do each and every thing to reap the maximum number of rewards possible, providing little incentive to the Season Pass. Needing the Season Pass to do the events is also another reason to dislike it, as you can't get every exotic and have to hope that they'll get re-released as a random drop, have a quest or two, a specific strike or something that'll drop them. Such as [armory]Thorn[/armory] in D1, or [armory]Arbalest[/armory] in D2, and [armory]Outbreak Perfected[/armory], [armory]Whisper of the Worm[/armory], and [armory]Sleeper Simulant[/armory]. Along with that, those are free, or come with more than a single exotic and small content bursts in their packs, such as Year 2 and Year 3 in D1, unlike [armory]The Fourth Horseman[/armory], which you must have the Season Pass of it's Season to obtain it, while having to pay for the next season still! It's a bunch of rather annoying problems that come with the passes, and make's me rather frustrated because of all the hope I had for Destiny 2. I am getting back into the game, but it just wont be the same as D1 was, and will never be able to be as fun a game either. I like a few of the changes, such as Kinetic and Energy Primaries and Secondaries, but there are waaay to many cons that outweigh the pros substantially on the game. I see a meta that frowns on people who didn't have money at times in PVP, or a rather challenging way to do something that wasn't supposed to be challenging in the first place. Plus, exotics being locked for the fact their seasonal is kinda upsetting, as it make's me feel as if the weapons such as [armory]Symmetry[/armory], the exotic scout rifle from the last season, the current Tommy's Matchbook(Armory look up added unneeded stuff to the search box), and Erianna's Vow(Same here) from the first season with Shadow Keep unfair if a couple hundred people couldn't get to them because they weren't around for the season it was introduced in. They didn't become random drops, so anybody that couldn't level up to the season pass reward that gave it away could not get them, making them an item that's seen to be needed to be pay2win in that aspect. What the season pass offered wasn't enough to make it worthwhile. Yes, I heard they're being brought back, but it doesn't help if it's another pass!
