Big issue/glitch with the guardian games that is invalidating everyone's legit work with the medals, will there be a fix or is it a known issue?
Dear bungie, can you guys make it so that when someone deletes a character and create another one, that he can't just re-earn the free gold medal each time, whatever the class he is?
It feel like all the work i'm putting towards the medals and towards helping my class winning the guardian games is ruined by someone who can do 30 gold medals by the time i finish my daily medals... And that as I am capped by how many I can do, it feels pretty cheap for someone to just be able to delete a character they don't use simply because they can farm a free gold medal indefinitely. I'm not saying that's why Titans are winning right now, since any class can do it, but whatever class wins its pretty cheap that that behaviour can invalidate pretty much a big load of work of players doing it ''legit". Whether the quest should be given one time per account or character, it should register if the person did it already on his titan, warlock, etc.

I couldn't agree more. I play this game a lot and have a hunter and a titan, the hunter being my main. I feel like the weighting discussion before made a certain class more energised to beat another and it has resulted in tactics and or blatant cheating. The weighting is obviously far too simple for what we are seeing from these tactics, besides the point that Bungie made it even possible for a class to be that far ahead/behind!?! The grind is repetitive as always but I would have persisted. Going to the tower though and seeing those flags is just a reminder that I'm putting time into a broken structure.. and it feels like a big waste of time. This isn't about winning or losing. This event has lifted the lid on the seedy side of the competitive nature of the community and how Bungie's structures always have a flaw, detectable by certain people very quickly. Please rectify this as best you can - silence is a death sentence to things like this. Thanks to this, four of us are off to play Minecraft ffs!

This competition really feels like a joke. Right now, on Xbox, based on the flags in the tower it looks like Titans have more then the other two classes combine. Something isn't right.

I feel the same way, it's less fun if people manipulate the results. Bungie already said they adjusted the weight of medals to compensate for the fact that hunters are more prevalent. I feel like whichever class wins now, if they won because of manipulating the event, should be disqualified. I mean this event is supposed to be like destiny 2 Olympics right?

I agree with you, but I have to add something : as you said, the "competition" is based on daily medals. Playing it the way it's meant will grant every player the same number of medal per day. So, there is no "work" towards the objective, and you are already (as well as many of us) wasting your time : appart from the use of glitchs, the winner class will be the one with most players. Not because they are better, more involved, or anything else, just because they outnumber the others ...
