Trials really should require shadowkeep ownership

Is it really that much to ask? I mean if you don't own shadowkeep then what are you doing playing an endgame pvp experience in this game anyway? This would be a simple solution so that cheaters can't just make a free to play account, hop on trials, and start cheating. On the other hand it also wouldn't be an added paywall for most dedicated players, because if you're playing the game seriously you likely have shadowkeep. Obviously a paywall doesn't solve all of the problems. We still need anticheat to prevent cheating in the first place, but at least with shadowkeep as a paywall the problem wouldn't persist so much, and I see no significant downsides, plus, although I'm not an online video game developer, it should in theory be fairly easy to do.

  • Honestly, I abouslty agree with your statement latey theres been alot of hackers and cheaters in Destiny 2 Trials and ruining the fun for it. I'm qutting Destiny 2 until Bungie fixs this issue, I feel like they should not only trials should require shadowkeep ownership, but also forsaken ownership, 2 DLCS that should come with trials to help the hacking issue. Bungie please fix this, its going to ruin your game.
