Why is it that I have to bend over the counter every time I want to do something so simple as changing the element of my armor, so I can put on a mod (which I also have to spend in-game currency on,) which is not compatible with the element my armor currently is? <= Which is another problem in of itself; all mods you have unlocked should be available for use on ALL pieces of armor, regardless of the elemental type of your armor. If you aren't going to do that, at bare minimum, don't make us pay for trying to customize our characters and their loadouts, as all players do in an RPG/MMORPG (which you like to brand your game as). In the end, I don't have ascendant shards, enhancement prisms, and enhancement cores just sitting around that I can spend just because I want to change a mod on my armor. Please, Bungie, address this.

I'm pretty sure nearly all games that support respecing have some sort or cost associated with it.
-
Let's say you did roll the element you wanted. You'd still have to spend materials to level up slots. That cost is exactly what you would spend to change elements, plus one upgrade module. It's not as bad as people are making it out to be. Like someone else replied with as well. All RPGs that I've played have a cost associated with resetting your skill points. This is Destiny's version of that reset.
-
Also everytime I want to change my Artifact ("WE WANT YOU TO EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT BUILDS") I have to fork over 100k Glimmer & waste f'ing 10 minutes just to do what you want me to do. Activity, Spider, click click click, Artifact, click click click. Activity, Spider, click click click, Artifact, click click click. Activity, Spider, click click click, Artifact, click click click. How on Earth do you guys get so many things wrong?

This game literally has no other content besides pointless busy work. Why do I have to buy an Upgrade Module to infuse something? Why can't infusion just take the cost of right out of my inventory? To waste my time by having to go to the Tower and buy a module? Why can't i hold more modules? To waste my time by making me go back to the Tower to buy them? This game reminds me of a '94 Honda Civic with aftermarket wheels in the front, a factory rim without a hubcap on one side if the back and a donut spare on the other rear side. 3 different colors of body panels, primer on the rear bumper, and no front bumper. It's just pieced together to get Bungie from point to point as cheaply as possible, and it's a mess.

What I truly hate is. I can't have an impact induction guantlet with an autorifle loader. Wtf kind of stupid shit is that?

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 4/13/2020 7:47:39 PM
all mods you have unlocked should be available for use on ALL pieces of armor, regardless of the elemental type of your armor.
I dont think that is the way it was designed. Lol. They allow you to change element types so you can put any mod on there. Just have three peices of armor that you like of each type and your covered. Easy. This is sort of endgame modifications. So you are meant to grind a bit. Luckily you dont need the mods to play effectively. Maybe dont do them if you dont like to grind?
-
remember when players said there was nothing to spend glimmer and other materials on? Can't make everyone happy. Ever.
-
The Game is a "Freemium - pay for win - piece of sh*t" now.. In disrespect to all veteran customers who spent nearly 300 $ (ore more) over the last years. Now i have a Vault filled with useless crap instead of good weapons & armor that it used to be before Bungo nerfed everything to death.. Trying to be like Fortnite isn't a good way Bungo!! Look at how much new Eververse stuff has been createt and then look at the actual playable content we've got from Season of the wothy.. Disgusting !! Bungo has realy lost every sense of shame !!

Ascendant shards and enhancement prisms really need more sources to get them and upgrade modules shouldn't be purchased with enhancement cores but just weapon parts and legendary shards. If this were done the materials economy would be much better.
-
All they do is punish players. Punished for load outs, for grinding too much, for using the best dps weapons... ....they're bad people.
-
I need to invest resources into doing something and can't get everything for free.
Please, Bungie, address this.
The point of Armor 2.0 was for the player base to refarm armor all over again. You aren't meant to actually complete a set. Thus the reason BungLe has turned a blind eye to any changes.
-
Exotics that can't slot artifact mods, having to spend so much currency just to make a simple build, having to spend currency swapping elemental affinities, can't apply a certain shader to all pieces of armor at once, etc. The armor system needs an overhaul imo. Armor 2.0 was a good shot but there are so many outlying problems.
-
This is their exact plan. They want you to play more to grind out those cores and shards. This way, they show the shareholders that people are playing their game and they continue to stay in business. Working as intended
-
Customizing loadouts in Destiny-speak consists of collecting the tools that can cover your relevant bases as a player so that you can swap weapons and armour to mix-and-match whatever range and mod selection coverage you want. Changing the element affinity on armour was added as a sort of drop-protection system so that players really only needed to worry about the stats and not if it also has the right element. The game doesn't really 'punish' players in this short of not having a feature to save preset loadouts.
-
Ooh what kind of punishment, detention, lines, community service, prison!
spanked 🤔
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Bungie bases everything in the game around the top 1% players. Anything that has an economy, they base the prices off people who play destiny 2 as a job. This means the prices are sky high for the average player. The only voices they hear are the well known ones; the unknown people like you and I don't matter.
-
i agree that the cost for it is absurd, it should be limited to glimmer, material and legendery shards, not more of your hard earnd prisms and ascendant shards.
-
Exactly

Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 4/13/2020 2:22:29 AMSo that youll buy season pass to get more materials. This game isnt f2p anymore. Its literally pay to win. Inb4 "achtually just because you pay for more materials doesnt make it pay to win" Pay to win is a model in which in game advantages can be bought. It doesnt ensure a win. Its about paying for some kind of advantage. Of which more materials and more high light level drops clearly is. Also armor 2.0 was a mistake and so, too, will be weapons 2.0.
-
This will just make the “must have” posts worse as you will need specific load outs and weapons configs

Edited by Kiro - 13: 4/13/2020 3:38:27 AMWe use to have no system in place. Dark times. I am thankful it at least exists now. Its kind of like saying "Hey I cured your aggressive stage 3 colon cancer, but you have AIDs now....Not HIV but full blown AIDS" Be thankful for your AIDS, its better then being dead from cancer!

Agreed and Bungie knows this, but if they fix it that means less time from you grinding. Don’t let them fool you, they’re some shady folks.
