Auto Rifle Buff good. Exotic auto buff... Not so much.

So, auto's got buffed. Cool. Never really been into them myself, but they've been a very rare occurrence in the recent meta, they needed a hand. That said, I don't think I'm alone in saying that Hard Light is -blam!-ing ridiculous at the moment. Giving one of the easiest weapons to use, one with no fall off, max stability, a damage buff was a mistake. The same can be said about the SUROS Regime, absolutely insane ttk when spun up, even without tbh. Those two outliers ruin the auto buff, now people will only be willing to use those two weapons if they plan on using an auto, just because of how broken they are. The thing is, they were both very competitive before the buff, so I'm suggesting doing what Bungie did with snipers in PvE, reverse the buff for the specific rarity of weapon. Hard Light and Suros will still be very strong, just not broken. That said, I can't speak for the Monte and Cerberus, personally haven't used either in the new meta, so I don't know if they needed the buff or not. Although both did have a place in the previous meta.

Bungie doesn't ever. EVER. Think about the effect a across the board weapon buff will have on exotics in the buffed class. Look at Graviton Lance as an example. A very very similar example. Literally the same problem actually! Pulses got buffed big time to compete. Everyone look at Graviton with its No Damage Drop off Perk and other bloated perks and yeeted it until Bungie removed the the No Damage Drop perk.... sad to say, but I think Hard Light might need the same treatment. Other Auto's aren't bad. Suros is close, but it can be countered at range and by playing smart as the gun actually has recoil, dropoff, and flinch compared to Hardlight. Monte is great, but balanced, as its stability and mag size punish mindless spraying. Cerberus... Good? But still situational... Ironically you forgot about Sweet Business. Lol that thing melts people, but it can still be countered the same way. Attack when they are just firing and hide when they spin it up all the way.
