A theory about future allies and enemies.

So, I just watched myelin's new video, and I have a bit of theory about where we will stand in upcoming releases beyond this next season. There will be three main angles to chose from: To side with the vanguard and the traveler. To side with the drifter and/or calus and the pyramid (what ever their name may be)in the dark. Or to walk in the gray. Now each of these will have relative story outcomes, where the missions might be the same but different things are said (think about skyrim's civil war), With players being pitted against one another in said story missions. Patrol zones will be contested points where you may be safe in your territory's zones, but an enemy in others. The light and dark will have their own subclasses, with the gray being able to mix and match abilities, but never harness the full power of a single side. The fallen will side with the light and the vanguard in their majority. The hive(under the control of Savathûn or Xivu Arath) and cabal(now under calus' guidance) Will follow the darkness. The vex will remain relatively neutral, make gray guardians sort of lone wolves/ bounty hunters. On the dark side, you will attempt to lay siege to the tower/traveller, and with the light you may lay siege to their stronghold (leviathan/ scarlett keep/ or a place yet unseen). Any other theories? If I find ones with solid evidence or reasonable speculation i will repost in the main topic. Edit1: Made clarifications.

 • The shows a fundamental misunderstanding of particular characters. The Drifter's master plan is profit as much as possible from Gambit and get the hell out of the solar system when the Darkness shows up. Calus does not care about the destruction of the universe, he simply wants to watch it happen and be granted the privilege to be the last. This attitude is likely the only reason he survived his encounter with the Darkness.

 • <The Drifter is bloody terrified of the Darkness, he wants to stay as far from them as possible. Who knows where the Vex will lie when the Darkness comes back. It is one of two things capable of single-handedly dismantling their entire network in moments. The Sol Divisive worship it, but the main network doesn't. Will they join forces away or towards the Darkness, or will they be fractured and fight it out?>

 •
Ok; so i have a few problems with your theory; mainly involving who you've made an "Ally" of the Pyramids/Tetrahedrons.
To side with the drifter and/or calus and the pyramid (what ever their name may be)in the dark.
Now; I can see where you're coming from with these two; however, Drifter is not an ally of the darkness. He hates it. He's actively gone on record saying about leaving the system; making him more in alignment with Dead Orbit, Or what i'd consider Grey (walking the fine line between the Light and the Dark; however that's an entirely different topic altogether). (so I've rewritten this paragraph about five times now) Calus is a difficult one. We know he wants to be alone as a god; but we can't guarantee that the pyramids will let him. For all we know, Calus could end up going to war with them in order to preserve his self given right to stand at the end of reality.
The hive and cabal(now under calus' guidance) Will follow the darkness.
No. I could understand if he somehow used the Crown of Sorrow in some way; but we saw what that did to Ghalran, and how Savathun manipulated and screwed with his mind to make him that way. In order for this to work EVERY Hive deity needs to fall; that includes the remaining daughters of Crota, Ur, Eir, Savathun, Xivu Arrath and Yul. In general i cannot imagine we'd be permitted to team up with the Pyramids.
Major theory; and one that I agree with; is that Season of the Worthy will delve into something regarding the Warmind, either picking up from the cutscene from the other day, or bringing up something from the Warmind expansion. Possibly even combine the two. Season 11 will have us return to the Dreaming City and we'll finally defeat Dul Incaru and break the curse entirely. This will hopefully lead into Season 12/September 2020 expansion where we might put an end to Savathun and maybe reintroduce the Dreadnaught. I also wouldn't be surprised if we see the arrival of Ur as well given his intrigue by Savathun's plans. However other than that; I'm not too sure. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ally wise; expect Calus to turn to the Light in a more optimistic scenario; pessimistic, He'll be a separate faction like the Vex or the Drifter. I wouldn't expect an ability to ally with any form of the Pyramids outside of potential Darkness/Taken subclasses. Fallen (or at least house Judgement and Light) will eventually side with us; unless Eramis is dead at that point, then I wouldn't be surprised if all the Fallen rallied with us, and the Scorn become the new fallen. Vex will remain as they are. Taken and Hive i imagine will probably be allied with the pyramids or maybe separate from them which would maybe be the biggest surprise to me. I don't think Bungie should destroy the Traveler/City but i do think something should happen that enables us to obtain new Subclasses. I don't think the idea of the Grey would be tested in the final confrontation. In fact i don't think it will ever be played upon heavily at all given how little we've actually shown of us to dabble with it; but that's a topic for another day. Planets/Locations, part of me thinks that Europa will appear, but thats based on how hyped up it's been in years. I can imagine some form of Martian terrain will appear, whether that's Hellas Basin, Merridian Bay or elsewhere I don't know. Terra obviously, and somewhere in very outer Sol; maybe Neptune or Pluto. However we haven't reached that point yet, and there's still things we need to do before then, such as breaking the curse, defeating the Hive, breaking the Fallen house of Dusk and Devils, and also allying the forces of Sol for the inevitable maelstrom. But those are just my ramblings/guesses.
