Maybe instead of bringing Cayde back to life. Bungie should bring Cayde son Ace to life instead. That would be interesting. I would like to see Cayde son Ace in the game being alive life and being a Vanguard like father and son. That’s something I actually really want to see instead Cayde being alive again. I understand why people want him to be alive but I mostly understand why people think Cayde should still be dead. But still bungie should really bring Cayde son Ace to live as a Guardian because that’s something I really want to see. But that’s up to Bungie if they want to do it. I am just telling about my opinion. Do you guys agree yes let’s see Cayde Son Ace as Guardian or no let Bungie do their thing and let the Crow be the next Vanguard I think.

Bringing back Cayde would ruin the single most emotional development in this franchises history and nullify any of the character growth made in the aftermath.

The two best voice actors in the entire franchise were wise-cracking Cayde and the Dinklebot. Both now gone - kind of sad really. So yes, I'd like Cayde-6 back but only if Bungie could get the voice talent of Nathan Fillion again. But, please God, no more Nolan North !!

11 RepliesNot to sound harsh/toxic, but do we need to have this discussion again? Cayde's death was a major plot point for Forsaken and was our ultimate goal for that storyline. Bringing him back would result in basically undoing what motivation we had to pursue the Barons and Uldren across the Tangled Shore. Also i hear that whole, "Oh he was the only character that had any development or any character at all". Yes up until his death; right now we have Asher, Failsafe, Ikora, Sagira, Eris, Petra, Calus The Spider, Drifter, Saint-14 even little old Eva Levante and Osiris. In game each of these characters have actual personalities with stories, in game and in lore, more so in lore which is a problem yes, but regardless. Cayde needs to stay dead from both a motivation point and from a character development point of all the other characters.
