“And atop the highest of the jagged peaks, there sat the deathless dragon wings.”
Intrinsic Perk — Fire and Brimstone:
This weapon fires an accurate 6-round burst. Rounds burn targets. Kills leave behind poisonous clouds.
Trait — Breath of the Beast:
Precision hits on enemies inside a poisonous cloud ignites the cloud to explode.
Exotic Catalyst — Tempered Scales:
Walking through poisonous clouds increases damage resistance for a brief duration. Walking through Breath of the Beast explosions increases weapon damage.
Lore:
“And atop the highest of the jagged peaks, there sat the deathless dragon wings.”
It appears to be a relic dating back to before the Golden Age. Inscribed runes carved into the weapon detail that it was once the living servant of an immortal ‘Dragon’ who slept forever in the bowels of ‘Carfax’. No such record of any system or planet matches this name.
The core of the weapon itself appears to be a petrified power core of biological origin. We believe the weapon doubled as a prison or means of control over whatever creature the core originated from.
Similarities have been drawn between the draconic nature of the weapon which could suggest a familial relation to Ahamkara, yet the weapon contains no bones, nor offers any aural hallucinations as attributed to Ahamkara imbued weaponry. For all we know, this weapon could pre-date the Ahamkara.
Further study will be needed to ensure the safety of this weapon if it is to be used in the field.
EDIT:
‘Carfax’ as in Carfax Abbey from Dracula which what I based this gun’s lore on (Etymology of literal Dragon and the word ‘Dracula’).
Also I’m an Aussie and we do t have Carfax here.

Let Bungie do an ad with Carfax car reports. Then it'll be shallow enough for them to do. They could shove that fox head into eververse. Is this scummy enough for you Bungie? Did I give you enough of the wrong idea with the good idea for you to implement it?
