Linear Fusions are weak.

So I love my fusion rifles. You'd figure one super concentrated beam over multiple bolts would be great, nah, they just suck even on critical shots. Here's my thought its a super concentrated plasma beam therefor it should do a good amount of damage, greater than the added sum of damage produced by regular fusion rifle beams, ESPECIALLY because they're heavy weapons but nope. Compare even to trace rifles, those things are incredible for damage, linear is still weaker than that. Granted its a one shot vs continuous, but one linear shot should be dealing more damage on a BODY shot than a single 100 round trace rifle magazine, and of course more on criticals. The Arbalest is pretty crazy, and that's just a primary linear, if I'm using linear fusion in the heavy slot, I should be seeing a significant increase in damage because its a HEAVY weapon, NOT a primary, thats how destiny works right? Heavies are big damage dealers, hell, grenade launchers are even better than rockets in most cases, they take ALOT of health off of even the biggest bosses, they're my go to, with rockets being second of course. If linear fusion rifles aren't producing significant damage comparable to other heavy weapons then they should just be put in the energy slot instead of the heavy slot.

  • Ever tried out a Line in the Sand with firing line and rapid hit? It rivals even the great whisper and Iza for boss damage. There are videos out there that confirm this. Datto I think made one.
