Game was at its worst during Curse of Osiris and Black Armory. Last season’s content (not including the Shadowkeep expansion content) was also terrible. This season though is great. Tied with Season of Opulence in how good it is, I’d say. This season’s story and missions have been AMAZING, Sundial is a fun and rewarding activity, the Obelisks are well designed (props to whoever thought of the Tower Obelisk that allows you to access all 4 Obelisks at once), and overall I’m optimistic for what the rest of this season has in store.

I think the game is alright. I don't mind all the attempts at new ways of expanding the endgame, especially with how long this Console game has been out. I think D2 is already a ways past the second installment's capabilities. In that, I mean i think its probably pretty tough to do a lot to a game thats been out as long as it has. It's a lot easier to take what you learned and put it into the next installment versus continually trying to extend the livelihood of a game to which, I am grateful because there arent many other games I'd rather play to the degree that I play Destiny. I'm not a huge fan of the season model in a looter shooter due to the current model making non-current season loot more or less useless regardless of the gear's stats. I do like the story installments continually being released because it fills my destiny void whereas with other titles you just have to wait for the next installment to progress the story. All in all, I really like this game and I'm never gonna be upset that people are still working with it and tweaking it to ultimately improve my overall Destiny experience. Here's to hoping whenever D3 drops we'll get a product that reflects all the experimenting thats gone into D2 and continues to feed my incessant Destiny craving.

I would say it's mediocre. Contrary to popular belief, the game has done some things right. That said, there are indeed some issues holding it back. Some are issues that D1 had already fixed, and some have been plaguing the series as a whole since release. It's not unplayable, but it's certainly disappointing in some areas where it matters.

Its not good, nor terrible as some say it is. Its just dab in the middle. It certainly could be wayy better, but thank god its not horrendous.

Very tired of seasons and timed content. Not playing much right now. Which is good because there are many more compelling games to play I missed out on while grinding Destiny stuff. It's become very apparent this game is far too unrewarding for the time spent in many cases. Raids, exotic quests, secret missions, story missions, crucible, and gambit are probably the best uses of time. And in some cases only when you have friends to play with. I kind of just want to put the game down and wait for it to be finished so I know what all there is to do and pick from there. This drip feed, live service, seasonal timed stuff is not fun to try and keep up with or care about. As someone who seeks to be responsible, I can't make my life schedule around Destiny.

The game is not a real action RPG, so I'll keep criticizing the unfocused poorly-designed mess it is until Bungo hopefully makes it for one audience only! Either I get the game I want eventually or these forums will still be one of the most entertaining ever! I love a good win-win!

The game is pretty boring right now tbh. Ive done everything I wanted and needed to, so normally I'd just play pvp until something comes along but even pvp is boring at the moment. No trials, no new pvp vendor gear, old IB gear, laggy muppets, 10 minutes in orbit between games, ddos in comp, broken ass weapons like erintil destroying people at dumb ass ranges with practically zero charge time. And PVE is just stale. I feel like I'm playing years old content all the time because it's always the same enemies just reskinned. Even if an activity is new it still feels bad just because it's always the exact same enemies we have been fighting since day 1. Cabal, vex, hive, fallen, everything else is just a reskin of them. I only play now when the one friend I have that still plays this game comes online, for some reason I can't get him to play other games, but if it wasn't for him I'd probably not come back on D2 until near the end of this season. I Still need like 7 more Season pass levels and around 1k more points in comp before next season. I'm back to playing apex legends and monster hunter for now. I'm nearly master rank 100 in mh and I've almost finished the 3rd season pass in apex. I used to play this game until my thumbs hurt but it's just getting old.
