Too much grind, not enough fun

Where did the fun go? (This is some feedback, if you don't like it it does not change my opinion of what Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is and I bet I am not alone.) Eververse has most of the interesting cosmetics which is fine for a free to play game but not fine for a game that you have to pay for and face it you have to pay for Shadowkeep and Forsaken. The Season Pass instead of being only cosmetics it actually contains gear that you get ahead of time if you pay more. Even seasonal, supposedly fun things are super grindy like upgrading the sparrow that requires you to probably complete about 200 strikes to get all the materials needed (if you upgrade you oven first by looking up the recopies online so you don't waste materials). The grind level is set to 11 at this point that only people who play this game as a job or no life it can actually "enjoy" the end game. Armor 2.0: Nice idea very bad execution if you consider the RNG to find matching pieces and the cost to upgrade is just absurd. They keep doing the same thing over and over, tired of it not doing it. If I have spent literally over a thousand hours in the game so far (it is probably more) I should be able to do endgame content but this is not really an MMO, this is a donkey with a carrot on a stick. Obviously I can play the game why am I not allowed to do all the content until I grind some more (waste my time some more, I am not immortal). I tried to give it another shot after a year break and since cross save is possible, but bad is bad. This is a game designed for streamers and people without a brain that can do the same boring things over and over and over and over and over and over and over......
