A second slot that can be used for either kinetic or energy, and allows for double equips of the same weapon (eg, two Buzzards). Dual wielding makes the perks of the ‘original’ kinetic or energy slot the weapon perks for both. The downside for dual wielding is no aim down sights and faster ammo consumption. You can’t dual wield rifles, shotguns, or any large ‘two-handed’ weapon. You can put another weapon and have effectively three main weapons and a power weapon — but you will have a maximum of one special ammo weapon when you do this. You can’t dual wield exotics, unless they make an exotic that has dual wield functionality. So your weapon arrangements could be: 1. A dual wielded kinetic, press ^ for your energy, hold ^ for your power weapon. 2. A kinetic, press ^ for dual wielded energy, hold ^ for power weapon. 3. A kinetic, press ^ for energy, double press ^^ for second (energy or kinetic), hold ^ for power weapon.
