..Has no business being as good film as it is, after the The Last Jedi. Why did Disney think switching Directors halfway through the Trilogy was a good Idea, Honestly if you took Rise of Skywalker and split it in half you would have two well made albeit shorter movies, not engaging JJ Abrams for everything Star Wars movie related was a big mistake. I was pretty surprised with the intriguing albeit bland twist concerning Rey's family; it explains a lot of things in the previous movies, namely her natural affinity for the force that upset many fans myself included at first, it didn't make a lot of sense,
if you take the time to see the film you'll know what I'm talking about when it happens and say "o, yea ok kind of makes a ton of sense... must skip a generation.

I need to remember to add the spoiler tag
This film was less afraid to be edgy in a sense of Revenge of the Sith-like plot devices that were sort of haphazardly sprinkled on but not with delicate care.
Like sugar on a muffin top
It also held the telltale virtue signal that is so common in corporate America, but having experienced TLJ, it's tastefulness was both refreshing and non-bothersome in anyway. Disney has certainly come a long way from it's roots, and it's clear with these films in general, the days of purely sanitized Cartoon Disney films have thankfully come to an end.
again lol you'll know it when you see it, teehee
JJ Abrams consistently shows given his resources and material that he can revitalize Sci-Fi classics, and while TFA may be polarizing at worst, it was a faithfully made and fresh film. TLJ on the other hand directed by a spineless fanboy whom I don't care to remember the name of at the moment; misses this mark entirely and attempts to have as much calamitous fun as possible with the source material-neatly and carefully mocking it at times even
Perhaps it was the marketing at the time Idk; but it sure as hell felt like Disney was cucolding the fans with it's very oddly ham-handed themes and choices
We won't even get in to what I thought of the Solo movie; I recognize I have a problem.
Really his last name was given to him by a customs agent? when he said he didn't know his last name???- Booooooo... I'm a biased sloot I know
Rogue One was a gem and should be left alone forever. In conclusion; If you were mad at Star Wars for the previous Movie like I was, you'll feel better about it's new owner a little bit, at least Disney has the foresight to bathe, feed and care for their new pet... Suggestion: See in theaters *note- if extra angry at Disney, wait for it to come to bluray 8 out of 10 *note- generous out of love for the Star Wars universe, and JJ Abrams Directing.
