I bought the Destiny 2: digital collecters edition. But after downloading it kept placing me in the free to play destiny 2. So i thought that my game might have been glitched, so i bought the Destiny 2 forsaken legendary edition on disc. After deleting the downloaded destiny 2 and reinstalling the disc version, the problem was still there. So now i own Destiny 2, all dlc content and i'm unable to play any of it. I've owned my playstation 4 pro for 6 days now so i don't have ps plus yet, can i play the full destiny 2 game after buying ps plus? I hope somebody can help me, i've been trying to download/ play this all week
Everyone, regardless of DLC owned, installs the exact same version of Destiny, which includes all of the content. DLC licenses allow a player to access the content locked to particular expansions. With the launch of Shadowkeep, and New Light, the progression system was changed. New characters will experience the revised Destiny 1 opening mission, and then be dropped into the Tower, as if having completed the Red War campaign. All characters start at 750 power, which is the new base power level, and character levels no longer exist (no lvl20, lvl50 stuff). You can visit Amanda in the Tower Hangar, to pick up the year one legacy campaign quests. These would be Red War, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind. For those that own Forsaken, that campaign is started by selecting the Last Call mission icon, located on the Tangled Shore map. To access any activities with matchmaking, such as strikes, PvP, Gambit, etc, you will require a PS Plus subscription. Without PS Plus, you can only play solo, with limited access to activities.
