Remove the 5500 glory cap from competitve, add other tiers above legend up to 10000 points, and return it to the previous matchmaking where comp was diffucult. Add an in-game leader board and exclusive emblems and shaders for every tier. The leader board can be team-based, where you would pick a team of 4-5 people at the beginning of the season and climb with those players, or the leader board could be solo based where you earn points on individual points depending on how well you do. There are several other games wITH well designed Elo systems,(Overwatch) that work great. Add that to destiny 2, and the crucible experience would be much more rewarding.
