I'm normally 100% against any kind of nerfs but this gun is too much and has been too much for too long

The people that troll these forums and popular streamers asking for nerfs have destroyed this game. Destiny has fast become a mindless no fun game. Our guardians have been neutered by this idiotic community. If you think a weapon makes or ability makes the game too easy for you don't use it simple as that. *I'm speaking strictly PVE here.

Strictly PvE I would argue it is still considerably better than nicely rolled SMGs.

The big deal is, it's way too overpowering in PvP, and it far overshadows any other kinetic or energy primary in PvE as well. Its ease of use and dominance in the sandbox in this current state makes the game stale becuase if you're not using this weapon in a lot of circumstances you put yourself at a disadvantage. Not to mention it has been in its prime due to the shield piercing artifact mod, which allows it to rip through non matched elemental shields at a higher damage than any other primary energy weapon in the game. The nerf is needed, we need more of a variety.
