No. I have the same problem but I don't want it gifted, I want it fixed. While we are at it, I just want to point out, the only reason I want that sniper is because it is BROKEN. All the people use it for cheese, the best dps comes from it. That is the same reason I grinded for Recluse and now I can't use any other energy weapon, because Recluse is the best one.
TBH, I would rather see weapons like these removed because they limit the playstyle, and don't tell me to just use something else, I will use what is the best as much as the other guy. I just wish I had more options. Sure there's a bunch of guns in the game, but everyone knows what kind of loadout is the best.
Also, I would rather have Izanagi locked until it's quest is fixed, like Telesto is right now, because the fact is Izanagi is not accessible to everyone, and just by that fact it is not fair for only certain amount of game population to have it.

I was with you - I've even voted on another thread for the box to be unlocked for everyone who's picked it up - but you blew it with your last paragraph. I earned mine in year 2 by doing the full quest, but by your logic I should now have it taken away because you can't get it. GTFO. It's Bungie's fault, not mine.

Yo, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Of course locking the weapon for players is a bad idea. Please understand my frustration when I see people soloing new dungeon with Izanagi, bursting raid bosses with Izanagi while I get advice to farm specific rolls on substitute snipers. I wrote on impulse and yeah, I agree, locking weapons or removing them is not a good idea. Peace

I didn't mean to offend anyone. I do want Izanagi as well. The thing is, quest is bugged, and this weapon seems to be available only to the people who tried to get it couple of months ago. To the people saying Izanagi is nothing special, sure, that's why most new players who stuck with the game whine about not being able to get it, and all the people that have it, enjoy using it and would not like to part with it. Just one look at forums about all the rage regarding this quest and weapon is enough to tell how powerful it is. Most other weapons falling behind the few meta weapons is definitely another topic. For example I would love to be as efficient using Hard Light as much as I am with Recluse... Just imagine what people would do if for a month they had to do raids without Izanagi...

What about most other quests guns? They stand well in the metas and out perform most base game exotics. Want them locked aswell? To have a good game, you have to have a variety and removing a sniper with a unique perk is kind of useless.

Lol that weapon is not broken in the slightest, DPS numbers and testing shows it has one of the lowest overall DPS outputs. Its amazing for burst DPS but after that the whisper will wipe the floor with it. I don't think any of you truly understand what a broken weapon is, you should play warframe sometime, you'll figure it out there...

This right here. I agree with everything you said. The current meta weapons are definitely over powered. Honestly I think they should buff all weapons across the board EXCEPT the current meta weapons to bring everything else up to spec. It's this right here is why I am inevitably on my way back to Warframe. Dang it Bungie, why won't you just listen to your playerbase :(

I guess buffing other weapons would work too... The thing is, the playerbase is not really united, and most of the people do want it gifted. Hence I am already downvoted, but I appreciate knowing there's like minded people out there.

Most people don't want it gifted though? The Quest has been out for almost 9-10 months like come on
