Good news!
alright, I know it's really late but still, I couldn't help myself
-
They can’t remove it is part of dlc’s My guess is that vicarious or someone other than bungo built this and they don’t want to fool with it
-
Option 1: blow up mercury with a cool vex story line Option 2: re-purpose the infinite Forrest as training simulator with randomized boss runs, or old raid encounters mashed together
-
It could get the Pluto treatment
-
Mars should go to
-
Mercury was great until they reworked it to no longer count yellow bars towards progress. Another example of Bungie stretching play time and worsening the game as a result.
-
Remove it, then bring back venus.
-
I thought we had plenty of disappearing content in the pipeline but whatever.
-
wait for it, wait for it I can see it now season 9 something strange is happening on mercury, yep you guessed it IT`S HAUNTED
-
Dude, just about all the planets/moon need major work. Certain activities like EP, etc... should have been updated with new gear/weapons More public events but actual new ones and improve the loot from the chest Lost sectors should have been improve using patrol missions that are an actual challenge or bounties More quest using a hell of a lot of playable ground that is on all the planet that are not being used There are a lot of things that can be done and that should have been done. Mercury was a waste of time and resources to have all that playable ground and barly anything done with it.
-
Everything about Mercury was a disappointment, especially the infinite forest.
-
It needs a vehicle grid .... but then again I don’t think I want to see my sparrow getting blowing up every five seconds
-
Didn't they say shortly after first releasing Mercury and receiving massive backlash about it that they would be enabling sparrows? Year 3, still nothing. Flashpoint use to be bearable once they made "invaders/protectors" and other "high-value target" type enemies count towards flashpoint but not that's gone. And all that PR hype about "exploring" the Infinite Forest: it's completely inaccessible outside of strikes and missions. It cannot be "explored." So yea, I agree, Mercury needs an overhaul. But, what can we expect from the playspace introduced by arguably THE worst-received and most poorly-executed expansion in the entire franchise? I literally have never seen anyone have anything positive to say about Curse of Osiris or anything it brought with it.

I wish Mercury had: Very high structures on the edges and sniper nests on top of them. Maybe even have an Extreme Long Distance sniper rifle with no-backpack perk, weapon would be tethered to that nest. Also Rocket Launchers tethered at the top edge of the map. I just wanna blow up enemies kinda session. Loot Caves or enemy spawn point holes that pop out endless enemies. A Giant Prime Cabal that roam the entire area. He’s like a World Boss. Like the one that got taken in the Taken King. He carries an iron safe attached to a giant iron chain, filled with stolen treasures. High chance to get tons of glimmer, planetary materials, cores, or exotics. Maybe a single EP tower that you can repeatedly activate to summon the World Boss. We need a World Boss Punching Bag and Anti-World Boss Weapons. I got five to fifteen minutes! No problem. Hop into Destiny, hopefully kill that World Boss for quick loot and materials before going to work. Lol 😁👍🙂

They should have let Ghaul destroy it
-
I'm waiting for your suggestions.

Wow! Nice constructive feedback bud!
-
So let me get this right you actually want there to be less things in the game... Mkay..
-
It would be awesome if this season culminated with the Vex invading Mercury and destroying it!
-
I hope they rework the hell out of it in season of Dawn. But even if they dont, what good would come from removing it?
