I've played Destiny 2 beta and everything up to shadowkeep through my ps4, and this last year I got a new computer, so I was more than excited to transfer my progress over. I never had attacted any kind of battle.net or xbox account to bungie.net, so I created a new steam account. I signed into bungie.net with my ps4 account, and as I went to the first step to activate cross save, it told me to authenticate my steam and ps4 accounts. Seems like it shouldn't have any kind of problem. I didn't need to authenticate my ps4 account because I had already logged in it when I first signed into bungie.net, so that is clearly not a problem. When I attempted to authenticate my steam account, I signed in, I entered the code sent to my email, and when I brought me back to the cross save page, it didn't go through. After doing this again for some time, I've tried to log out of steam, and instead sign into bungie.net with my steam account, however, after attempting to authenticate my ps4 account, the same problem occurred. I would like for a very clear explanation for this to be explained to me, as I've spent more than enough time trying to figure this out with no success.
