For too long we've seen our ships as just a loading screen, something that just "looks nice and admire". Ships as a whole need more value other than it's aesthetic in my opininon and it would only better the game as a whole. We need a full on combat system with it that we can use in space, fast travel should still be a thing but allow us to fight in the space areas we hover around and in. For example, if I just transmated back to my ship after vanquishing riven I should be able to either chose to fast travel or explore the space around the dreaming city. This, as whole, would give us another incentive to play and cherish this game as well as add another outlet that can be used for a whole plethora of game/lore expansion. This would also give amanda holiday purpose for being here. She is one of the most useless npcs in the tower for the sinple fact that she doesnt offer anything accept green sparrows and ships. There isn't any challenge, objective or purpose to her character at the moment and to bring the whole idea of dogfighting would be perfect for her. My next point would be the ever elusive SRL. Whenever SRL has been in town, people from all over whether they'd be pvp, pve or both completely drop everything to go try their hand at racing and it's an amzing thing to see, experience, and master. It's fun, it's simple, it's helpful, and it betters the game we all know and love. To conclude, I believe that the addition of Ship exploration, dogfighting, and SRL would be fantastic faucets to add into the ever-growing game we know and love.
