In order to get more assistance, could you please edit your post and include your system specs? Mainly, the exact OS (with build number if it's Windows 10), your RAM, your Video card, your motherboard, your CPU, etc. Without that information, the people here that are pretty good with PCs may have difficult helping you pinpoint what might be causing your game to freeze. If Scan & Repair makes it playable for a bit and then it starts up again, it may be as simple as your hard drive or RAM sticks being slightly unseated and needing to be re-plugged. With that being said, generally, freezing is either caused by low RAM or by one of the many Windows 10 updates that seem to break things on occasion. So, without more specific information on what your system is, exactly, it's hard to give more detailed information. So, please update your post and then hopefully someone here that knows more about D2 on PC can help you out.
