So is it Bungie won't remove enhancement cores.... Or they CAN'T remove them? (puts on tinfoil hat)

I don't think they ever taken such a hard stance on something that seems like an incredibly simple task. I'm willing to bet they don't know how to remove enhancement cores without outright breaking the game due to destiny's infamous poor coding. Thoughts?

  • They won't remove them because a lot of us only login to get/horde cores to level up our shit to get to 700 and be ready for the next DLC. If not for cores, we wouldn't be logging in till the next one comes out since we've done all we've wanted to do. For some reason - maybe they need to show investors - they need to show that daily logins are still there, aka "the game's not dead." makes no sense to me since other franchises just let you pass the game and you still buy the sequel when it comes out no matter how long the gap is between games. but not Destiny's devs... they love making you do boring shit to be able to play their next thing. You'd think the Black Armory fiasco would teach them no one wants to work to be able to play a game they paid for, but here we are, needing to level up our gear and light to play the next thing.

    • If they put them in there, they probably know how to fix it bro. I don’t think Destiny has poor coding. Bungie also can manually edit Xur, Nightfall’s, and heck even modifiers on activities if they wanted. They have done before and they can do it now. Sadly I don’t think they see how many people stop playing because of infusion.
