Buff thundercrash post #1

Never made one of these before, time to begin. I literally never use it, ever. It's not "hard to use" and I certainly "know how to use it," but I'm curious as to what exactly this is supposed to be used for over pretty much any other super titans have. It does pre-buff nova bomb damage, it has no ability regen, inertia override is only really useful in crucible, it's flight mechanic only ever really ends up being used in a straight line, and it's melee is no better than shoulder charge is, actually it's worse. Give it a 50% damage buff in pve, it should deal so much more damage because I have to launch MYSELF at the enemy, but 50% is a fair amount that doesn't make it too powerful. Increase maximum velocity flight time by 2 seconds, it's flight mechanic is a worthless gimmick that has to be used on enemies within a limited range to use properly, it's unsafe and not useful, it's safer to launch it at close ranges so you don't have to worry about messing up your super. Regen melee charge on completion of super, if the idea is to get supers as quickly and as often as possible, make this happen; it needs it's melee to be useful. Finally, grant 15% melee energy for sliding over ammo or 10% for picking up ammo normally. This is what I think it needs to become more valuable, because no matter how much people tell me it's good, it never explains why I never see it nor have any reason to use it like the other classes would with their one off supers. It doesn't suck, let me make that clear, but it's value is extremely limited when we are in a pve meta of instant recharge supers due to exotics and crazy orb generation. It really doesn't feel to be valuable when the most useful part of the skill tree is the melee but you never need it, or you can't make good use of it without exotics. Exotics shouldn't make the class in pve, they should enhance it beyond normal capacity. To make sure people understand how much a 50% damage buff is, that only puts it at around nerfed blade barrage level, that's how weak thundercrash is. It's still weaker than chaos reach, both nova bombs, and just spamming jump fist of havocs. I try to be more positive when I make these kinds of posts because reading an angry post just makes it sound like I'm bitching out of spite, but I genuinely don't feel like in pve it's good, even in gambit where it MIGHT be useful...it just doesn't put out enough power to make it useful. Two jump fist of havoc from top tree deals more damage than thundercrash and it can kill more targets. In PvP, it's pretty good because of how disorienting the charged melee is and how the super can be used, but the way it is just doesn't make me personally feel like it's worth it's risk heavy playstyle. I like thundercrash and I like it's concept of heavy risk for great reward, but it needs to reward more for that risk. It's too dangerous to be used except in anything besides strikes, aka activities where dying actually matters. Also, made sure to see how far thunder crash goes...it goes around 25% further than the normal titan lift. I'll use dashes as an example. --------------- ----------- Top is thundercrash, bottom is normal strafe lift.
