There are so many ideas provided by the community, some small, some big, some controversial, some simple. Do something, please, anything
Indeed, many good ideas are thrown around, yet Bungie very rarely acknowledges them, let alone implement them. I have always said the main problem with Bungie is the management at the top. It simply sucks.

Bro go play a new game beating this dead horse is getting you nowhere
-
just stop playing. after 2 months you won't give a single bflucakm
-
There's no point, Destiny 2 is just a boat on fire with bungie using small cups of water to throw on the fire in hopes to put it out.
Just wait until d3 I guess
technically, everything Bungie has done, was to make the game "better". better is subjective.

Nerf shot shotgun range and oem.

Remove cores from infusion. Have factions sell armor and weapons like in D1. Remove the requirement to play PvP from quests, and get rid of losing progress on death. Completely separate PvE and PvP already ffs. Make snipers penetrate shields for crits like they did in D1. Change the heavy ammo drops to what they were before. Make it drop from powerful enemies all the time. Get rid of the built-in Juggler mechanic in the ammo economy. Add bigger magazines to launchers. Bring back Raze Lighter, Bolt Caster, and Dark Drinker. Add cool looking armor sets and class items. Bring back the Cryptic Dragon. Bring back Nova Mortis, and Abaddon. Bring back Outbreak Prime. Bring back Hawkmoon and don't ruin it this time. Buff Blade Barrage in PvE. It sucks now. Increase exotic drop rates. Make The Shattered Throne mission available all the time. Stop catering to YouTubers, elitists, no-lifers, and neckbeards. The vast majority of the player base are normal players. Make lore easier to get. No RNG or time gating. Give our guardians a voice ffs.

Bungie has been tripping over its own feet since D2. Dont blame activision. Bungie squandered all the goodwill. Bungie has to fix it.
-
They should just sell the Destiny IP to a more competent game developer.

*cough* *cough* airship battles *cough* What? I didn’t say anything.

The ONLY thing that would make this game better is to add more story content. I can't believe they've exhausted all story ideas. Crap like Black Armory only makes me want to stay away (even though I finally finished the first 2 forges). With Crackdown 3, Anthem, and The Division 2 out or coming out soon, I'd imagine a lot of players will take a break from Destiny for awhile.

I've played destiny since day one D1. In D1 there was an area of time where it was stale and I sort of got burnt out playing it. Started getting to that point a couple of weeks ago with the rng in D2. I like grinding, but it's beyond rediculous now. I stare at my ship in orbit, troll the tower peeps, and leave. Nothing exciting going on ATM to get my attention.

Semper Fidelis

Sadly when ever Bungie implements anything new they find a way to botch it every time.

They are doing something. Constantly doing something. Always have been doing something. Stop whining about them not doing anything when they clearly are.
-
Yeah Bungie, like bring back Rift and Sparrow racing................. That sound you hear is any semblance of respect that anyone might have had for me, leaving.

I love this game. Its a very good game but obviously can be better. There are a lot of wasted and inconvenient things in this game like Y1 gears and weapons, vendors, farm, jumpship (or I can say our loading screen), Ada quest step, Nightfall, Mercurys Forge, Xur, Consumables, Sparrow and maybe more things that I forgot to mention. Maybe they are lacking in manpower to manage this IP?

It's kind of hard for them to do that since they are going through a severe Partnership break up with a company who gave them most of their financial support for this game. You are not going to see a lot of content after September. Supposedly Activision is still working with Bungie, but after September that's when the partnership will end completely because Activision still owns rights for the annual pass. There is speculation originally we were supposed to get another annual pass in September but because of The Break-Up we may see a somewhat small expansion. Some people don't understand when you make a video game it cost money to develop it, to buy the necessary equipment to maintain the video game as well as to distribute and promote the video game. People are all happy that Activision will be gone, but people aren't thinking about how much money does Bungie really have? Is it enough to continue to support for Destiny 2? Is it enough to continue to develop Destiny 3. These are questions no one have asked throughout this whole partnership break up. Also we may even see more microtransactions because they need the money to continue with Destiny 2. We may not even see Destiny 3 because supposedly a developer from Bungie said they are seriously considering if Destiny 3 should just be an expansion to continue Destiny 2. There was even talk Bungie might even turn the distribute side of Destiny into a monthly subscription. Due to the fact it cost money to upload a video game digital and physical as a product. Mostly because some YouTubers are complete morons they don't think about these kind of questions they only think about money money money and kissing ass.

With the current shitshow that is called anthem not living up to the “destiny killer” title so many have given it D2 is unfortunately still comfortably sitting at the top of the looter shooter list, so they really have no need to try harder to please players. Maybe the division 2 will cause a shift in that (because that beta was actually good) but until that drops I don’t expect bungie to do a lot simply because they don’t really have to.

We did a "thing" ..... No-thing, get it? - Bungle

It's in a good state atm. It's light-years better than vanilla D2. Also, you have to understand that devs have a master plan or game plan that they won't deviate from. Devs don't just get together over the weekend and come up with something new and put it out next week. The content we're getting was created months and years ago. The stuff they are working on right now will be put on later this year and next year. And they are hard at work already with D3.

Edited by name: 2/19/2019 2:41:17 PMremove eververse and remove infusion cores + adding matchmaking for everything would be a good start
