This is just my opinion, but I believe players will enjoy the competitive playlist a lot more if your glory rank does not decrease under the sub ranks. So, for example, if you reach the glory rank Brave III your rank can still decrease but it will not go down past Brave III to Brave II. I am an average skill player in the Crucible and whenever I do play in competitive (which is not that often), I find it annoying when I win a match and rank up, only to lose my next match and then lose the rank I just earned. Another thing that Bungie could do instead would be your glory rank does not decrease at all and it only increases from winning matches like how the infamy ranking system works when you reach Legend. However, this could get frustrating when you lose 5 matches in a row. I understand that you haters are going to say “the current ranking system makes getting Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten more of a challenge” or “stop complaining you little sh*t,” but like I said I am a average skill Crucible player. And many other people like me find it frustrating trying to earn weapons like LH and NF hard with this system, especially when you are matched with sweaty players that all have LH or NF.
