What can be played for free with Destiny 1 base disc?
My friend is getting an XB1 this weekend and I am going to give him some cheap used games that i dont use including the discs for Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 and hopefully he enjoys them and goes on to play full time with my group and I.
What can someone play with just the base D1 disc? Are all the content from year 1-3 available?

Vanilla D1? You're looking at about 10 hours of content. You get Vault of Glass and maybe a small handful of strikes.

A vanilla disk with absolutely no DLC? I'd imagine barely anything
