I have done three Powerful Reward Quests between last night and this morning this that have awarded Scatterhorn Gauntlets at 600, which by the way was the ONLY piece of Scatterhorn armour at max level I already had on my Titan or in the vault. Three times in a row I got the same thing. Last week I did the 100k Nightfall and my two Powerful Rewards were two sets of Vigil of Heroes leg armour. I hadn't seen a Duke 44 until a week ago, I had two drop yesterday alone. Likewise Shadow of the Cast, I finally got one about a month ago then had three drop in rapid succession .. haven't seen one since. Same with the Dreaming City, I am swimming in 600 Titan chest armour and Marks but haven't yet seen a Hand Cannon, Scout, Sniper or Shotgun. Are they actually real ?? .. And I haven't seen an exotic in about two weeks. There seems to be a pattern to the so called RNG that indicates it likes giving you what you already have. Granted I can use the Scatterhorn gauntlets at 600 for infusion into exotics but then I have to grind for stupid cores ?? .. Does Bungie think getting three items the same for consecutive weekly "Powerful Rewards" make me want to play more ?? .. Its infuriating. Why is there no mechanism to ensure you don't get identical drops when gaining powerful rewards ?? .. Is it because the exact opposite is the intention ?? Random drops ?? .. Nope. What exactly are the odds of getting the same item as Powerful Rewards three times in a row anyway ?? Is anyone else finding the same trends in their loot drops ?? EDIT .. Got my first Exotic in a while after an IB match .. An Exotic sparrow. The same one I got from a Steadfast Engram last night. You couldn't make it up.
