The problem isn't really sales it's the fact the game stopped pushing micro transactions as aggressively so they aren't making as much money from it Activision only care about the stream of revenue to appease investors the quality or customer satisfaction is irrelevant. I'm not bashing them it's just the reality of the business they weren't disappointed with destiny until recently because for a long time tess everace made up a large portion of the end game. The real problem is they may force Bungie to revert back to a more micro transaction heavy model which would surely be the final deathnell of the franchise for its more dedicated fans

  • Actually 12+ million people bought the game 2.5 million play at any given time, that means Forsaken was a flop. Bungie has burned the players 3 times now, noone is coming back after that. 3 times, D1, D2, Curse of Osiris dlc. Thats 3, I dont blame them. Bungie is at fault here. They renegotiated their contract to have more control, they were wrong and now they are paying for it. Even Datto admits that much.
