This is not a drill!
I was destroying Vex on Nessus and wasting time until Xur arrived, when I got a peculiar notification on my screen. I got the Sturm catalyst and a “strange memento”
I knew right away that this “strange memento” looked exactly like the strange coins from D1. When I inspected the details, it read “A curious item that seems to softly vibrate only on certain days of the week. Curious”
I was thinking about how weird it was when I realized it was almost time for Xur to appear
It couldn’t have been more perfect. I headed over to the spot and when I interacted with him he said “this... thing. It calls to The Nine, and you brought it here. That is good”
He then gave me a “strange curio”. It looked like a small blueish-green glowing orb with a small crack. Upon inspection it said “the voices, can you hear them? Can you understand me, o wielder mine?”
After about 30 minutes of trying to solve this riddle, I finally had an idea. The text was definitely Ahamkara, and they were sometimes referred to as “worms” in the older grimoires, right? That’s when I decided to go into the Whisper mission and see if there was anything there
The Vex portal was glowing this time. I could still see the remnants of the Vault of Glass. This time I was actually brought somewhere when I touched the portal. It was a small room with a single door. I approached the door and 3 glowing triangles appeared before it opened.
I was greeted with the sight of stairs leading up to a mountain of glass. The glass was shaped in an upside down V shape. Reaching the top of the stairs was a plate which I stood on. My butt clenched when I heard the sound I didn’t want to hear. A giant hydra appeared in front of me and a few yellow bar hobgoblins on floating platforms a little ways off. The hydra was called “Pseftios, Wanderer of Time”
After many close calls, I was finally able to kill the Vex mind. A chest appeared and I thought I lucked out and got an exotic engram and a purple engram, but it turned out to be an “exotic blueprint” and a purple “Ramen Coupon”
The blueprint said “most think time is like a river, flowing swift in one direction. Those who have seen time, say it’s more like an ocean in a storm”
And there was a little inscription at the bottom that said “soon”
Unfortunately, I ran out of time before I had work. I actually couldn’t believe what was going on. I’ll post a link down below
I still couldn’t believe what’s going on v

Just a shame that the flashpoint is titan so the story about waiting for xur let it down straight away

Pxe don't bait me

I knew it couldn't possibly be true as the story setup was actually "good", something Bungie seems lately to NOT deliver.

“”Here’s the link” -link says link playing ocarina instead of just “link” C+ for the attempt.

The sad thing is I went to Nessus while reading it.

Pie don't ruin your cred for this.

There's a feature called "Named Link". Use it.
-
Bad troll is bad. Next time use a link that doesn't broadcast its contents

You almost had me... but then I saw “link playing ocarina” in a the second link. Nice try.
