Hardcore D1 player, recently joined D2 (My experience so far)

Hey guys, So after being a hardcore D1 player (I had more than 2.5k hours of gameplay, all 3 characters fully leveled, within first 1000 to complete Crota), I'm coming back to Destiny, being honest a lot of Bungie's decisions for D2 felt like a step back from D1, which really got me upset, most of my friends left the game and I did not see a reason to purchase D2. Being honest I missed it, I missed the every Tuesday reset where everyone knew they had to log on to complete raid and nightfall, the weekends of Osiris and Iron Banner where we used to grind like crazy to get the stuff we wanted, I missed all those experiences that the game has, and after almost a year of D2's launch, 2 of my friends who sticked to D2 convinced me of coming back and sharing with them this awesome experience. So I did it, I purchased the Forsaken pack with the base game and the 2 previous expansions, my friends promised to sherpa me through most of the content, and help me with the grind to get me ready for Forsaken, I was so excited, I even took a day off work (along with last weekend), so that I had time to catch up, do some of the initial missions (which my friends mentioned I had to do alone, and those first missions suck, sorry bungie nobody wants to spend 15 minutes half walking), I had eveything ready, I went to sleep on Thursday and left the game installing, knowing Friday-Sunday would be Destiny 2 all day, I wake up Friday like a little kid on Christmas, turn on my xbox, launch Destiny, and boom: NIGHTINGALE, what is this? I search online, I see all sorts of posts, questions, every forum says: restart your xbox, unplug it from the power for 30 minutes, it worked for some, but of course it would not work for me. So half friday goes by, me trying to fix this thing, nothing, nothing that I've read across thousands of forums seems to work, I even reinstalled the game 2 times thinking it might have been a bad installation, but nothing seems to get me through, I was so frustrated, my friends came back from work, logged in, sent me party invites, I join, just to let them know my struggle, one of them had a similar problem, restarting his modem seemed to worked (at this point I had already even disconnected the power from my house and plugged it back in), they have their own things to complete, so I just close Destiny hoping it was an issue that will solve itself by the next day. Saturday comes along, and oh surprise, I'm able to login, not sure what it was, but I'm in D2, I go through those hideous first missions, I get my light back, I'm happy, but there is so much to do, that I'm overwhelmed by how many things I still have to complete. My friend helps me through some missions, but his help ends up hurting me, I'm not leveling up like I'm supposed to, so in order to get to a certain area I need to be Level 11, I'm just level 8, so we hop on to Crucible to boost my level, we play for a couple hours, everything feels like the good old D1 days. We go on with our offline life, and agree to come back on Sunday and get me to Level 20 and finish the campaign, where the real fun begins. We are both online Sunday around 10am, just had breakfast, I'm ready, boom, NIGHTINGALE AGAIN, I get so frustrated, I was not expecting this, I really wanted to complete bounties, the campaign, get to 20, get some good armor, get the good guns, do some PVP, maybe even try the nightfall (regular one, not heroic or prestige or whatever they call it now), after frustration comes anger, I'm so p*ssed at bungie, destiny, xbox, everyone, I can't play. Every other game, netflix, IPTV, etc etc works fine on my xbox, youtube loads the 4k videos like nothing, so It can't be my Internet Provider, or can it be? I didn't think that it could be a problem with my ISP before because like I mentioned, everything else was working fine, my NAT showed Open, no packet loss, everything looked normal, but I do a test, I create a hotspot from my cellphone, connect my xbox, and guess what, D2 works fine!, so now I know, it's my ISP, now I just got to figure out what I can do. I run a couple traceroutes to Bungie, and everything looks good, but I when I do the same to xbox.com, Microsoft.com, or any other MS/Xbox website, I get errors, packet loss, timed out requests, so apparently my ISP has problems connecting to xbox, strangely enough, this only affects Destiny 2. I try calling my ISP, the guy on the phone doesn't know what I'm talking about, he is trying to send a technician to my house, I explain that everything works fine, it's just their route assignment to Xbox/Microsoft, probably my node, maybe my ISP's firewall, or Xbox's firewall, but he just doesn't get it, and decides to send a tech to my house. 2 days go by, I finally get a call from the tech, he confirms the visit, he gets there on time, says my modem isn't compatible with the speed I have on my package, and decides to change the modem, to everyone's surpise (/sarcasm), it doesn't work, he can't comprehend the error, he says it's my xbox that doesn't work, since everything else works fine, so I try to explain what is going on and do the test with my phone, he just doesn't get it, so he says he'll escalate to maintenance. And now I'm waiting on a call from maintenance, and see if they are high enough on the knowledge tree, to understand my problem, in the meantime, this has not stopped me from playing, and I've been leveling up, by myself, with restricted NAT (due to my cellphone's hotspot not being the best connection), all because my ISP just can't get their sh*t together. Hopefully this gets resolved before I run out of data hahaha. But overall I've had fun, last Saturday was awesome (the only day that I could play with my friend), and I'm currenlty at level 23, and got my soltice armor, which I hope I can level up before the event ends next Tuesday. I would really appreciate some tips, on how to do it. In regards to feedback for Bungie: GIVE US A WAY OF SKIPPING THE CAMPAIGN, I want to level up my other 2 characters, but the campaign is so boring, that I don't know if I can handle it all twice again, the heart of destiny comes from sharing moments with friends, and having to re do the campaign all over twice (for my hunter and warlock) is not something that I'm excited for, I'll wait for Forsaken to launch and I'm supposed to receive a level up item for one character, but going through the first 2 or 3 missions is mandatory before even being able to get to the tower/join fireteams, please let us skip this (obviously after the first time completing it). Stay safe Guardians, and be grateful that you are not using my ISP right now.
