A_DMG4 and DEEJ have been disrespectful to players, unless you’re a content creator.

As a Destiny player, I play a lot of Destiny. Raid report me, you’ll see I play all the time. But I’m not a content creator or streamer. So when I see A_DMG or Deej happily answering questions about the new DLC or QoL, I decide to ask. They are Destiny community managers after all (even if Deej was promoted). But while they find time to answer More Console and Gigz and Pope Bear and Gothalian and anyone else to makes free advertising for the game, they’re Johnny on the spot with a reply. I ask a question, I’m ghosted. As if I don’t matter, because I don’t have status. If you think I’m jealous, I am, that some people get respect while others get ignored. It sucks. It would be one thing if a precedent was set that these are their private Twitter accounts and they don’t take questions about Destiny. But they do. They just cherry pick who they’re willing to reply to, and non-content creators aint it. Before I gave up hope on Deej, I had said this to him on Twitter. He tried a bit of psychology on me and said, “we you have my attention now, and you’re not asking me a question. What is the one topic you’d like to bring to my attention.” I replied with my feelings of the importance of an in-game (not companion app) LFG system. And I was happy I had gotten to talk to him. Until I realized he ghosted me. No reply. No comment. Nothing. Probably put down his phone. This to me is unacceptable. They’re not the community managers for streamers, they’re supposed to be there for everyone. Being the link between all our feelings and not just the popular ones. And they don’t owe me anything, but they own all of us something; which is respect. To not simply ignore fans of the game. There are so many easy questions in their comments which go unattended. I’m genuinely hurt and frustrated by their attitude and I hope something changes.

  • You have to view this from a business perspectiv. What good does it do to answer the same question over and over again? Of course Bungie is going to reply to the Streamers first. Those are the people that gather the important questions and can share the Information with the most people. Even if Deej answered the question for you, you wouldnt be able to share it with anyone. If thousands of people start asking him questions, then thats basically all he does all day. You wouldnt want the get the same email over and over again right?
