I sometimes game and help with a group of autistic adults that live in a group home i came across on Destiny 1 a few years ago. But i don't go around writing cheesy ass stories about it. What am i supposed to say here. They are the real heros? Oh, the cringe.

You're a dick

Not everybody is as "kind" or patience as you or this group of guardians. He is just teaching people that it is rewarding to help others and maybe people who aren't influence by being the guy with something pithy to say they might be encouraged to help others who have a hard time with this game, or better yet with people in real life. You are thinking of self-image, showing your own vanity, he posted this story because he felt compelled to share it with others. And for good reason, there are shit people, there are good people and then there are people who are probably good people but act like shitheads. Which category do you fit in?
-
You know, all the feedback I've gotten from "mentally impaired" gamers is they want to be treated like everyone else. They hate it when people talk to them like a child and pats them on the head saying "good boy". Really they are not intellectually impaired. Their brains just function differently than ours. And they just want to be treated like human beings. Which means they would appreciate me acting like a shithead more than someone sweet talking them like a little child
-
Nobody was treating them like a snowflake, except you and all the other negative commenters. The guy told a good story and you were like "I don't think you should say that bro." so.... yeah. Backwards thinking as phuck. BTW, you totally just bragged about helping autistic kids, what a douche!
-
Didnt brag, stated a fact pertaining to the post and how i thought that the post was chessy. And if you are attacking me for "bragging" about helping disabled gamers then you must hate OP. Make up your mind. Really nothing i said makes me a douche. A lot of people think this was some cringe, eye rolling cheese and condescending towards impaired gamers. Line up 100 autistic gamers and they'll probably appreciate my comments more than yours and OPs. But go ahead and keep your delusion of self righteousness. I don't give a shit.
-
You're being ignorant for the sake of being ignorant. I assume your age is appropriate for your behavior. The guy was never condescending to impaired gamers, he was endearing. You were condescending to him for posting a very touching story. Trying to defend a handicap person when they didn't ask for it. You are stubbornly toxic and it's just bad form.
-
Your opinion on the matter. This may come as a shock but your opinion may differ from many others. This is a public forum where users give their opinions. I stand by my opinion that the post was cheesy and condescending even if it was well meant. And the hypocrisy is real when you're calling me childish, toxic and having bad form when you're the one that introduced personal name calling into the conversation. Have a nice day.
-
Now you're just being a baby about it. Yeah. Called you that. You know what you were doing troll.
-
I said good day, sir.
-
Oh. You're a child. My mistake.
-
Ah, now the personal insults start coming out and you're showing your true colors. Have a nice day.
-
I just did what you did. Next time just don't say anything.
-
I'll say what i want and you can't stop me.
-
That's very cool. Sorry my post came across as a "cheesy ass story" to you. This was my first time being in a situation like this so I was pretty elated.
-
You could say nothing but you decide to type like an ass. Just read it and type nothing next time.....
-
Nah you have to go on a long tangent about morals and talking about what people should be like to the point where you aren't mentioning the game anymore
-
Sorry it came across preachy. Wasn't my intent.

Edited by That Ginger: 8/9/2018 8:40:29 PMNah I was talking about the people who replied to your comments talking like that, fun to poke at those ones

Oh got ya! Sorry!
