My only problem with the Graviton Lance
is the catalyst. it was a great gun already, it was GL and VW as the best guns, 1a and 1b with crimson being #2 before we got catalysts. Look at what happened next, GL got a sticky boost and range no other good guns got two stat boosts. Not only did no other guns get 2 of anything of note boosts, they got meh boosts. VW? full auto? that's nice, maybe pair it with outlaw at least? Speaking of outlaw, remember when MIDA was cool? Crimson only got a range boost, that when paired with its 14 zoom is useless for long range engagements against scouts and pulses. Come to think of it did any gun get a really good catalyst other than GL? There's a reason why FWC didn't win the 1st faction rally, and why it's going to take NM this one to win their first one. Those catalysts suck compared to GL. THe guns don't suck but in comparison, it's like why bother?
So basically I'm asking why would you make what was arguably the best gun in the game much better w/o making at least one other gun the same?

2 RepliesI'm happy they did that, even though I can understand that it seems unfair to people who like other guns. Its a badass gun. I was personally hoping for a MIDA buff other than a faster reload. Pretty much everyone already used the GL though, and pretty much everyone has the catalyst now so at least its fair(ish) to everyone. I'm sure a new meta is in the works as we speak. I kind of wish they would have a playlist with weekly or even daily metas or possibly restrict the type of weapons to just snipers or pulses or hand cannons, etc. I will stop now because if I type the word meta anymore today I'm going to lose my mind.

The Jade Rabbit cat I thought was pretty underwhelming until I tried it. It's a lazer now. Actually has less kick than Graviton does. Crimson in its range can outgun graviton and vw and has arguably the best perks on a gun in the game. The ability to heal and not reload is extremely important. My only issue is they have pretty much turned crucible into 5 guns. It amazes me also how many crappy players use the meta. I've noticed 6vs6 has kinda slowed it down but the gun that kills me the most in crucible in GL and heavy. I'm actually thinking of running graviton until Forsaken because I've been really hot since the 6vs6 update but it's always some guy with GL that shuts my streaks down. Be at range with Jade Rabbit and trade or die with someone I would have won the gunfight with otherwise can get irritating.
