I'm from a Halo background and when I have time to hop on for some matches I very much was one who enjoyed the 4v4 of quickplay, felt a bit cleaner and right at home. I understand some wanted 6v6 and it's impossible to please everyone, I'm not one to complain. With the changes taking place however, perhaps we could also have the return of 3v3 in addition? I'd love to still have a smaller party playlists available to me as would most of the people I play with. Most of the maps were designed around 4v4, thus feel overcrowded at the moment. I was getting into many 1v1 and 1v2 situations and gun battles prior, now it's more or less just chaos. I feel it'd be beneficial to both playlists to add larger maps only to 6v6 and smaller to 3v3, then all the maps would be able to shine and be used properly. Lastly, even if 3v3 is decided against, 4v4 would still suffice. Whatever the number I think there has to be a better small team / big time differentiation to choose from for normal game modes.
