Warlock, hunter and titan armor all looks meh please fix this

So let me get some things straight. 1. I think all the old and current gear should stay unedited and that includes ornaments. 2. This post is mainly targeting the cosmetic side of the armor as to keep it as short and clean as possible. 3. I as an artist can say it sucks to hear negative feedback about your work but it's not negative if it's info trying to help the project be better. I mean this as in I'm only trying to help with the game and it's aesthetics be all that it can be. Don't take this as an attack or me trying to start a bashing thread. I'm just concerned that with no input that D2 can risk becoming ultra bland when it shouldn't, not with all the tools that could stop it being handed to me. So please take this with knowing that I appreciate the hard work but I need to be blunt at times to make that impact to get things to happen. Best of luck and I hope to see some kind of change come in the near future. I know that design is suggestive and I'm sure people like some or maybe all of the armor and that's great! However, I've heard and also noticed the poor state of armor in terms of variety within each respected class. It's like every class just has the same stuff with just a few tweaks or changes aka reskins. 1. Make each faction sell and reward unique gear. No reskins where one faction sells the same helm but just with wings or dolphin fins. I don't need to get two of the same helms from both FWC and normal crucible. 2. Ornaments should do 2 things for the armor. 1 makes it looks 100% different via effects or design. This means taking it to the opposite ends of its normal state so it may be round normal but with the ornament, it's more square. 2 It adds to the existing style of the helmet and multiplies its current style. So this will allow factions to sell and reward gear ornaments that are unique and also give it variety that's twice as much as it currently is now. 3. Don't be afraid to make legendary gear have an exotic look or feel. If you do this for weapons why not the armor? I think it's odd that some of the weapons have more unique shapes than the armor. 4. Let the classes dip into each other's look! For example, lord saladin sports a nice cape so why not let titans earn that look? They have a little of that hunter look just without the hood and they can even have a shoulder sash like a Roman soldier. Hunters can have longer chest plate the drapes down like a short warlock top. Warlocks could have no robes on some of the chest armor and etc. 5. If possible and maybe include this in D3, is to allow players to rotate the shader positioning when it's on armor or when you're previewing it. When I say "rotate" I mean to switch the location of color on the armor using the same shader. So you would hold Y or triangle which will move the center black part of the shader to the outer rims. This will help some armor look better as I find my some shader color locations to conflict with the rest of the setup. For Example, I place a black shader on a helm and it puts the black color on the inner parts but white on the outer corners when I'd rather have it the other way around. 6. Don't make the armor so formulaic and concentrated as it loses its individuality and meaning as a set. For example, the warming escalation protocol armor is so bland because each class is so generic you feel that it's just another reskin class armor set and makes you not even want to go through the trouble of completing it. Each class armor just spells it out like hey I'm a titan and this gear looks like the last set I had from tess everis. Over simplistic and repetitive content is not what Destiny is supposed to provide. That's the job for COD and I for one don't want to see Destiny become even more casual not even in terms of looks. 7. Warlock arm pieces that extend above the wrist and up to the shoulder like in D1 8. Hood up, hood down, and no cape option for Hunters 9. Warlock robes and coats are way too long as they cover the legs and the same for Hunters in terms of their capes. 10. Warlock bonds that pop more like bigger ones or some kind of effect that makes them stand out more. 11. The only formulaic part of armor should be faction specific logos/banners, and lore icons

 • True! Very disappointed in D2’s armor design aside from some pieces here and there of course. It was really cool that each planet has a vendor with their own armor. But the armor didnt look all that great. I think they did very good with the number of sets and where you get them from but the actual design was lacking for me. I was very upset with the raid lairs armor being almost identical as well.
