Destiny 2 is a wonderful game, full of amazing people and talented gamers. But it is also a place that oftentimes requires an confident and outgoing demeanor; something not everyone has. It can be hard for introverted people to venture into online gaming, where communication is sometimes intimidating or demanding. People who are shy or scared to enter the online gaming world don’t always experience all a game such as Destiny 2 has to offer. Because of this, I’ve created The Silent Sentinels, a safe environment for introverts or anxious D2 players to band together and play Destiny. The Silent Sentinels is free of intimidating expectations or demanding requirements. It’s a place where those who are shy or anxious to experience all Destiny 2 has to offer. As someone who is often intimidated by the online world, entering it can be frightening, sometimes impossible. Not all gaming communities or experiences are friendly, and that can make joining online gaming a burdening experience. You will not find that here. Most — if not all — of the end-game activities require communication and teamwork to succeed, and not everyone has developed those skills to the extent that a lot of gaming communities expect of their members. I wanted to create a place free of intimidating, impatient expectations that completely suck the fun out of D2. Being shy or anxious shouldn’t prevent you from experiencing the fun activities Destiny 2 has to offer, but there aren’t a lot of opportunities or places for those kind of people to feel welcome in. I wanted to change that, and so The Silent Sentinels was created. Here, you don’t have to worry about stepping far away from your comfort zone, nor do you have to feel pressured to be the best D2 player on the planet. You can be as experienced or inexperienced, of any level or Light, or play daily or once a month. Here, people are expected to be understanding and patient, welcoming to everyone. The Silent Sentinels is here to support all, and hopefully create an environment where anxiety or shyness is a strength, not a weakness. + Predominately Xbox One, but PS4 is welcome + Patience is a virtue, please be understanding + No daily expectations; play when you can + Inactive players will not be removed; we understand that not everyone can play six hours of Destiny per day + Be respectful and kind, anyone who is is disrespectful or rude will not be tolerated + All ages welcome, so be aware of younger players + Clan located on Destiny app, unless other options are preferred by members Currently, I (Kbubbles1210) am the only one in the clan, but I hope to create a place where introverts will feel welcome and respected. This is a supportive place, both through me and anyone who joins. Destiny 2 is a great game, and I want everyone to experience the fun times too many players haven’t been able to experience.
