End game in MMOs is all about fashion, fashion and more FASHION. I understand how unbalanced the game would be to have all exotics equipped in all armor slots but my suggestion would be the ability to TRANSMUTE gear. Say your Warlock has Ankaa Seeker IV (gloves) equipped and you want to keep the stats and the item level but you want it to look like the Sunbreakers.... Put the option under the armor mods section for X amount of Shards or hell make a new currency for that... It'll give you more freedom to look BADASS!!!!!!
