The system needs an overhaul... people arent seeing the problem. The problem with the tokens is that tokens do not feel like rewards.. Turning them in, you get lackluster gear and weapons that are below light level. Its not rewarding, making the tokens feel unrewarding to get. I personally feel the tokens are cheap, kind of like tokens at a kiddy arcade restaurant, where you earn tokens then turn them in for a cheap toy...
The rep system in D1 may have been a little harder to grind, but the rewards for earning rep felt rewarding. Doing bounties, felt rewarding.
Tokens.. not rewarding.

that's true, but i do wanna point out that the way we got d1 iron banner rewards was way better

Yeah, I have tokens coming out of my a$$. There are times I'm thinking "Is it even worth the effort to open that chest for another coin?"
-
They are literally just rep as an item, same as D1.
-
Exactly! The main difference is that tokens are reputation points that can be transferred between characters instead of being locked to the character that did earn that reputation.

I sometimes wonder if people on this forum have a comprehension problem... I am aware what they are, the problem is that tokens, even though the are just physical rep in the game, do not feel rewarding. To me they feel cheap, and lackluster.
-
So, the D1 system also felt cheap and lackluster...got it.

Are you trying to be dumb?

I enjoyed Whack-a-Mole in said arcade better than D2.

Whack-a-mole was pretty fun...
