Edited by RapidMoss18: 7/13/2018 4:58:09 PMI run a vigilance wing helmet, antelope-D gauntlets, a gravaton lance chest piece, tractor cannon boots, and for the class item[spoiler]i use a normal vanguard class item[/spoiler] then for weapons I use mask of nohr for my kinetic, ashen wakes for my energy, and the lion rampants for my heavy. BEST LOAD EVER FOR PVP.

Or people messaging you about how you are cheating and using wall hacks when you beat them or even just kill them (they still message you despite them winning) In the past 3 days i have gotten 3 angry messages from people saying how me and my freinds are cheating with wall hacks and aim bot... when we aren’t.... we just land headshots with viligence wing and sometimes land all the bullets for the two shot... people get so mad when you kill then in destiny I swear.

6 RepliesI use meta in crucible. I've been trying really hard to find something to use over Wormhusk and the only thing that is comparable is the Stomp-ee5 for the mobility. All the other Hunter exotics either aren't effective in PVP/at all or simply aren't fun to use. Wormhusk is fun to use because you literally feel and see it's impact the moment its perk triggers, whereas exotics that refill the ammo of stowed handcannons are not felt at all (Lucky Pants are a complete joke of an exotic, really makes me thing Bungie are clueless). It's not the players fault that Bungie makes one exotic good and fun while the others are all terrible and boring. As for power ammo... I hate power ammo. The only reason I take it is because I hate getting killed by it. The only time I use it is when my team is losing. I hate hogging grenade launcher or fusion rifle ammo for half a match. I don't feel skillful or badass when I'm using it. I feel like an asshole/troll and I feel bad for the other team. Also I rush hard when I play. I hate passive gameplay. Since power ammo drops when you die... Players are playing more passively than ever. To the point where they won't attack with their team because they'd rather hide in a corner with their shotgun. Having power ammo makes rushing as a playstyle inherently bad because if you die you give the other team a big advantage which sucks and feels awful. The weapon meta right now is fine in my opinion. As long as everyone has the same tools at their disposal to allow for legitimate 'outplay' situations then it's fine. I do feel like 1v1s and even 1v2s are somewhat worth taking now depending on the situation if you have GL/VW/Antiope but will also admit I'm growing bored of these weapons. I'm keen for a new meta but I don't mind having a few weapons outclass the rest. Handcannon meta where u at?!?>!??!?>!>

I think the proliferation of a loadout is less that it has a huge edge and more a psychological question regarding consumer behavior. Possibly why Bungie released crown and didn't think it would be that big of a deal.. they probably weren't expecting the proliferation of it. I think more people than you think are choosing that loadout because of decision making anxiety. This has been studied in marketing for decades. It's the reason why restaurant menus have become smaller and simpler over time. When you as a consumer are presented with too many purchase options, you develop a sense of tension in your decision when you ultimately determine your choice. Because there were so many choices, you never fully feel confident that the one you picked was the best one. Often times people leave with buyer's remorse. This might be happening in destiny much more frequently with the players who aren't on the forums. The ones that log in 1 - 2 times a week to hit their goals and do some crucible with friends. With the amount of guns, they experience some background anxiety on what they should equip during a competitive activity like the crucible. They either make that determination by seeing what is being shot at them, or asking a friend that tells them "just equip VW/GL/UG/Colony, etc." Their decision becomes reinforced the more they see the proliferation of that loadout - buyer's remorse doesn't exist. They then feel good knowing they made the right decision. This could exist at the more experienced level too - they do not want to think too hard about what is best and just want what is best. Whether they want to use another option becomes irrelevant. Equipping another gun will just cause tension, make the person question if they would have had a higher KD if they just stuck with their original comfort loadout - even if they won the match in 1st. This is why meta changes can be the worst experience in destiny for some people.

1 ReplySounds like a “ I’m not good and do not have time to understand my chosen class vs my own play style” issue. These classes represent play styles in a game that is better played hopping around and squashing teams. There is no tactical approach, “no hold the line”, and no coordinated team work unless you are in a team and you all are coordinated. This is what the pvp is. If you do not know how to Titan with op synthceps... you should not be a Titan, If you do not know how to warlock, you should not warlock. Boo hoo hunters can self heal in a fight.. So can EVERY class!! “Oooo but excuses after excuses”. Yes, thank you for pointing out you do not get your own class and your play style. Copy that. The ttk in this game is 1.25 max if you are using a good amount of the weapons that are provided in this game.. In that 1.25 seconds, if you were not beating that hunter in the first place, all that hunter did is extend your life a little longer before outplaying you again. In the time it takes for a hunter to dodge, you can kill it if the reason they are dodging is because they were losing the fight and are already damaged too low. There is no 4 second ttk 1 v 1 fight where you tactically got out played in a middle of a fight due to a dodge. You just got outplayed. Wrong weapon, scared to melee what would end up being on an already hurt player and getting the kill(of which both Titan and warlock can get heavily rewarded for with overshield and full health instantly), and if that hunter dodged your graviton lance from across the map... ok. Move on. They took cover. They do not live before the health perk activates.. they took cover because you did not kill the player before when had the chance and if they were low AND smart, they would not reengage you amy way meaning that hunter would have lived regardless. Stop heaving your grenades everywhere. If you see said class with said helmet in the game and they keep beating you, A. They are better than you. B. Throw your damage over time grenades behind the person!! They dodge, land in damage, never heal. I am mediocre at pvp at best and I can see red like the rest of ya... but because of the lag that controls this game. Not because of exotics..(although, I will admit the sound of that graviton is getting there) or sub classes or meta weapons. If I do get angry and blame any of those things.. it is because I am angry. Of which I’m the loser tryhard that is getting outplayed and I blame everything else why that is. If you are going to be so try hard and complain about what is hindering your game.. you are literally standing there hanging a sign saying “I want to be, and I act, like I am better than I really am at this game”
